Glenview Memorial Park Inc

I paid half of the cost of a gravestone for my mother in 2011 and have yet to recieve any viable information on why there isn't one on site yet. My mother was interred at Glenview on December 2, 2010. I went there in March 2011 to purchase a gravestone for her. I paid half of the amount which was about $450. I never heard anything from them again until I called them in 2012 at which time I was told that they hadn't been paid for the interrment. I was under the impression that they had an agreement with the funeral home that I used because I paid all the fees to them (the funeral home) according to the contract that I had. I heard nothing from them (the cemetary) again until I happened to be able to come to Durham earlier this year (2014). I was told that they would look up the information and see what the issue was and get back to me.I was also told that they would look up the actual stone that I ordered. Needless to say, I still have not heard anything. I have left several messages trying to get in contact with who I spoke to and haven't been contacted back. I was in town this past weekend and was unable to even find my mother's grave but I noticed that other graves that didn't have gravestones had some kind of marker on them. I am very distraught and just want this situation made right.Desired SettlementHonestly, all I want is what I started paying for. I want a gravestone for my mother. I have no problem paying the balance, which should be around $350-$425 dollars. She has been gone almost 4 years and I can't get home as much as I'd like but when I do come home I want to be able to find her without issue. So at this point, either allow me the opportunity to get the stone that I ordered originally or refund me my money and let me get a stone elsewhere to have put on her grave. Any issues with payment for interrement are between you and Fisher because I paid them and they paid you. I don't want any more issues or run around. This is hard enough without all the extra.
