In fact it is more than satisfactory - the owner called me directly and explained what happened and assured me the refund I requested would be taken care of asap.I would have no problem recommending this business to the public based on their response to my request for help!

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this accusation of bad business practice.Because we are a small campground resort with very few lodging units, we do have a very strict cancellation policyThis policy is stated to all customers prior to their booking and it can be found on our website
When the *** party booked their unit with us, they were informed of this cancellation policy prior to us taking payment for the first night's nonrefundable paymentThey agreed to this policy and provided paymentWe emailed the reservation confirmation which states this policy once againWe also have our lodging customers acknowledge our policies online which the *** party did complete and emailed back to usWe have their signed acknowledgment and agreement of policies on fileIf required, that can be provided.When the *** party called to cancel their reservation, they were once again informed of our policy which that already agreed toThey were asking for special considerationThe reservationist asked them for proof of the illness and once received, would be taken to management for evaluation and considerationThe *** party did not send that information. We do not deceive our customers about our strict cancellation policy or hide it from them when they call to reserve a unit with usWe never force anybody to book with us and if they do not like our reservation/cancellation policy, they should not book with usWe adhere to our policies for all of our customers which we believe is a good business practiceWe are truly sorry for the health issues the ***s are facingIf they provided us with the information we had requested originally, we may consider a compromise of sortsThe Revdex.com cannot fault us, however, for sticking to our established and published reservation and cancellation policies.Kind regards,Kathy S***

Unfortunately, as an owner of Glenwood Canyon Resort, I was not made aware of this situation by my office manager because he thought he had refunded the card on fileWhen I went in to look at the payment history, it showed a note that the credit card number was missingI attempted to refund using
the cc# on file but our reservation system gave me the same noteI then called the customer to apologize and request his credit card information so I could process the refundWhen I attempted to process the refund through our reservation system, it gave me the same note once again so I simply ran the refund through our physical credit card machineThe full refund of $was refunded on 1/26/with Approval Code ***The customer was informed and an email sent as confirmationHe was a very understanding man and said he appreciated my call
