We had been going here for years until my husband went there one day, they did a flu test, I work in a medical office doing flu tests multiple times daily and I watched the lab tech do the test and I told her she did it wrong, she ignored me and ran the test, it was negative. The doctor than told my husband he was fine and gave him some cough syrup and sent him home. That night, he was up all night with 103 temp that would not go down and a persistent cough. The next day I decided to take him somewhere else. I asked them if they could do another flu test because being in the medical field I was 99% sure that’s what it was. Less than 12 hours after the Flu test GMA did, this one came back positive almost immediately. This doctor was able to treat him correctly giving him ***, cough medicine for night and an antibiotic since it was not treated correctly at first X-Rays showed walking pneumonia now. Not only did they misdiagnose him and do the test wrong but than they charged him $82 for just the Flu test that SHE did wrong! When I called to ask if they could make it right and to make sure they weren’t wrongfully diagnosing patients again she just told me “I think I know my staff are doing it right and if you don’t pay this bill in 15 days we will be sending you to collections” We will not be going here and suggest anyone who would like good patient care to go to ***. Glenwood Medical Associates is malpractice at its best.
