We received an invoice from this company. This is a scam designed to catch people who may not be paying attention into sending money for a service they don't need.

Glinkx Response • Dec 11, 2019

We are a online business directory. We do not send invoices unless you have a membership where we bill annually. We send direct mail / email offers to join one of the largest internet directory services. Membership is always optional. Any business not satisfied with our service can receive 100% refund within the first 30 days, no questions asked. Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction.

Was a scam. Paid $194.00 on 2/16/19,Ck.#***.
Our company was ***& they
sent bill to us (misrepresentation).
Our regular company: *** is in litigation with Global *** as they have done this with other customers of theirs.
Seeking money back ($194.00).

Desired Outcome

Want $194.00 back that we paid to them through their scam--pretending to be *** and copied almost exactly the billing statement with logo. So, when the bill from *** came for $228.00 came I called them and said we already paid it the month before. Was then told they were suing the other company and they told us to contact Revdex.com to try to get our payment back.

We would be happy to refund your subscription fee of$194. We are committed to our customer satisfaction. We have no affiliation with *** and there is no litigation pending. Please email your company information to *** so we can locate your subscription. You will receive your refund in 5-7 days.

We received mail from this company that looks like an invoice but is a solicitation.
We received mail from this company that looks like an invoice but is a solicitation. We received mail on January 22, 2019 from this company that looks like an invoice in the amount of $228 but is a solicitation. While the paperwork does include the words "This is not a bill. This is a solicitation.", you do have to read thoroughly. We feel this is predatory in style

Desired Outcome

Permanent removal from mailing lists!!

Glinkx Response • Apr 02, 2019

Im believe you have the wrong company. We have a large disclosure and charge 194.00 per year. Im sorry for the inconvenience.

Advertisement Disguised as Invoice for Renewal
Received a mailing that stated "annual renewal website domain listings" in the amount of $194.00. It also included the phrase "Please remit payment to address on reverse by 11/2/2018" and "total for annual renewal" and a "number: GDL-XXXXX" - all of which indicates this is a recurring payment for an ongoing service. It is not, it is an advertisement soliciting for a listing on a website that doesn't even work properly. The previous secretary fell for this scam, but when I received TWO more renewal notices less than three months after this ANNUAL renewal notice. That's how I discovered we'd paid this fake bill already. This is a scam stealing money from a struggling church, taking advantage of an employee just trying to do her job.

Desired Outcome

I demand a refund of the $194.00 and this company to remove my church from their mailing list.

Glinkx Response • Mar 07, 2019

You received a renewal bill because you accepted our offer in 2017. We will promptly refund your money and remove you from our list. We do apologize for any incoveinece this has causes.

Fraudulent billing. Received a statement for an annual renewal of website listing service (Global Domain Listings), which was found fraud.
Thought that this company is a the domain Registrar that we have used for years, which indeed they are NOT!!!Payment for annual renewal of website domain service billing was paid to Global Domain Listings, in the amount of $194.00 on Jan.10,2019 The statement was a bit different compared to previous billings (normally from *** but I thought the company just changed the billing statement format. Our previous cks had been made payable to *** but, again, thought they wen thru a name change as well. Today, I discovered that I had also received an invoice from *** which I had paid on December 4, 2018 to the "real" *** service which is a Domain Registrar & renewal of domain names. I ask for a refund from Global Domain Listings in the amount of $194.00. They scammed Domain Listings of their client lists. This company does absolutely NOTHING! This is a terrible deceitful way of doing business.

Desired Outcome

A refund of $194.00. They do have an email address on their statement, I have sent a request for refund. There are no business phone numbers available.

Glinkx Response • Mar 11, 2019

We are a business Directory. We do NOT service your domain and this is clearly stated on our mailer. You received a renewal notice because you accepted our offer a year prior. We will gladly refund your annual fee. We are not affiliated with ***, however they are a business directory also and NOT a registrar. Thank you for your feedback and your refund is on the way.

All I asked for was a refund. Thank you for pursuing the refund. However, it appears very suspicious that this company's logo and business name are so close, almost identical, that unless one inspects the statements very closely they appear to be identical which leads one to believe their intention is to "deceive" clients enough they will do as I did. Pay both invoices, and thinking that it was billed and paid twice. In retrospect, it just looked like a modification of their invoice.

We received a solicitation from Global Domain Directory but I thought that it was a bill from *** because it was similar to their invoice.
We received a solicitation from Global Domain Directory but I thought that it was a bill from *** because it was similar to their invoice. I submitted $194.00 because I thought that it was ***. A few days later I did receive an invoice from *** and realized the error. I have tried to e-mail Global Domain Directory since there is no other contact information such as telephone numbers and they have not responded. Please assist me in getting a refund for my church.

Desired Outcome

I am seeking a full refund in the amount of $194.00.

Glinkx Response • Sep 24, 2018

I would be happy to refund your money. Global Domain Directory is a online business directory as is ***. I do apologize about the mixup. Please email us at *** with your complete information and your refund will be processed immediately.
We value our customers satisfaction.

Refund Requested from Global Domain Listings who took payment with no services rendered or requested.
We received a "bill" in the mail from Global Domain Directory for an "Annual Renewal Website Domain Listing" for $194.00 that was paid in error. We never requested nor received services rendered from 'Global Domain Listings'. My office has called and researched tirelessly to request a refund but when we have called it has gone straight to voicemail with the last message left at *** on 9/12/18 @ 12:50pm EST which went straight to voicemail. We are a church and would simply like a refund for the bill paid in error for this scam. We do not feel it will be resolved without getting the Revdex.com involved. Please respond as soon as possible so that we may resolve this situation and retrieve our needed funds.

When we are in receipt of the full refund we will be happy to close out this case, not prior to such time.

This company sent me an Invoice in the mail for $194.00 to renew my subscription. I paid the $194.00 by check not knowing this was a scam. I have attempted to call this business several times. The phone is never answered.
There is a similar business that I use for my domain name. I was scammed by this company trying to impersonate another company.
Product_Or_Service: fake domain name
Account_Number:

Desired Outcome

Refund I would like to be refunded the $194.00.

Glinkx Response • Jul 02, 2018

My business is a online directory. This is clearly stated on my mailing. I do not send invoices, I send offers with the disclaimer clearly stated in bold letters. I offer small businesses online exposure. I am not a scam. I will gladly refund your fee. Please request your refund in writing to *** My business is based on integrity and I never want to impersonate anyone.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I do accept the response. I have emailed the company requesting a refund as was stated in their response to me. I hope the company will follow through and issue a refund as I paid for a service I did not receive.

False advertising solicitation, and unable to contact the company to have a refund processed
On February 27, 2018 the *** received what appeared to be an invoice to renew our domain name, and subsequently issued payment on 3/1/18 of $194.00. After further review it was discovered that this was a solicitation for a supposed advertising of the Town's domain name. I then attempted to contact the company to have a refund issued. However, the phone number listed on their Revdex.com listing, *** is no longer in service.

Desired Outcome

To receive a full refund of $194.00
