As a response to the complaint we received on 04/05/2014 by this customer [redacted]. She purchased this vehicle from us on 10/29/2015 not the date she stated and brought it in on 2/24/2017 to replace the starter, do an oil change, replace CCV valve lines, replace battery and labor work. work together came to a total of $896.00 of which were $120.00 for the CVV valves, $206.00 for the starter. $120.00 for the new battery, and $450.00 of labor. The vehicle was picked up on 3/18/2017 not because it wasn't ready but because [redacted] did not have the total payment. We will add an attachment of the warranty sheet which states her warranty for this vehicle expired on 04/2016. With these facts and dates being cleared we would like to clear other issues. Ms. [redacted] mentioned about her boyfriend and police being involved. [redacted] and her boyfriend came to the office on 03/17/2017 in a very aggravated position her boyfriend making questions about what exactly had been done to the BMW and if we had a spare key for it to hand it over to them, [redacted] wanted to make sure all their doubts were cleared so she stepped out of the office for a minute to call the mechanic so he could explain better to them all the process that was done on her vehicle. [redacted] and her boyfriend were the only people in the office with [redacted] before she walked out, the other two employee's James our mechanic and [redacted] our sales representative were out in the lot moving some cars around. By the time [redacted] was coming back into the office [redacted] and her boyfriend were already heading out in a rush stating they were going to their car to get the money to pay, when [redacted] was near her desk she noticed the key for the 2006 BMW x5 was missing. She remembered leaving it there but to make sure she asked her coworkers if they had seen it, [redacted] responded that when she went inside a few minutes prior to this she had seen it on her desk because she herself was looking for the key to a vehicle she was going to move so she saw it with detail and saw it was the key to the x5 ignored it and kept looking for the key she needed. [redacted] walked outside the office to ask [redacted] and her boyfriend if they had seen it or taken the key, the gentleman began to insult [redacted] in Spanish she felt in danger so she called the police as soon as she saw she was going to call the police they both ran off in the SUV he was driving, as we had suspected they had taken the key and would come back for the BMW we the spare key we had and put the SUV inside the lot again. The next day [redacted] and her sister came to the office confessing she took the key the day prior to this and saying they would get an attorney to defend them in court because that's what they wanted to do refusing to pay the $896.00 that we repeat was being charged for the CVV valve, of the starter, the new battery and the labor. At the end of the day she turned out paying $600.00 after her sister had a calm conversation with the general manager [redacted]
