I didn't think I would have to file a complaint but the school left me no choiceIt was a total disappointmentDisappointment for my whole entire experience
The first day of school which was on Saturday, August 12th ,and the teacher, her name is Michelle nor the front desk lady, her name is *** did not show upThere was about girls including myself waiting for our teacher to show upall of us waited for hour and minutes, after waiting and nobody showing up and I made multiple calls to the office and there was nobody picking up the phone calls Now live about minutes away from the school so I decided that I will come back and check up on the school after I go get breakfastSchool was supposed to start at 8:am and after finishing breakfast which was at 10:am and I stopped by the school and to find out the teacher finally showed upAfter hours and minutes lateIt was just another student and myself who waited for the teacher to show up
I was a student at Sacramento MedTeK College for Sterile ProcessingI was told upon coming to class that an internship was included as well as lab trainingThere also was an externship available at Sutter Hosptail or in the surrounding area for $ In the 9th week neither was provided nor was it discussed that this was not happeningAs well as there was no class on the last week April 21stIn the contract it was stated that we would have instrumentation lab hours, that was not providedClass hours in the contract was supposed to be, every Saturday starting February 17th to April 21st but the teacher got a new job so left the last weekThe class was not provided a sub teacher, the day was canceledAlso our class hours stated where 8am to 4pmThe teacher was letting us out at 2pmFew of the days didn’t start till later because of building maintenance but still got out at 2pm as well one day we got out around 12pmLost hours that I still paid for
Paid and enrolled into Medtek college for the sterilization processing program was originally going to travel to stockon but figured Sacramento was closer,website offered internship with Kaiser which was stated that they were working on getting one through them after already payingNo hands on teaching,strictly work book readingFirst day of school no one even showed to open or teachI was never given my scrubs,wasn't shown how to assemble or disassemble any instrumentation,The office lady never returns phone calls or is never in officeI feel truly robbed of my hard earned money I paid and find it hard to swallow to pay the remaining fee(which I've been trying to do just to be able to be considered to take the board exam and hope to pass based solely on my own studying of the book and web searches) Program was $total not worth peoples hard earned money when taught absoltuely nothingI truly wish I would have paid more for a different program or traveled the extra distance to
