Revdex.com: My issue has been resolved they are covering diagnostics at 50% so they did honor the advertisement after allId number for complaint is [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because we have tried for two months to negotiate with Global Auto Sales and they claim that they will pay the specified amount for repairs, but we heard that before and they NEVER followed through to help us and were unavailable nearly every time we called to ask about getting our car fixed by their mechanic. We even had our car towed over to their mechanics shop and it sat their for weeks because the people at Global Auto Sales were unresponsive and clearly did not care to get this resolved in a timely matter in the first place. We want them to buy back the car from us or give us the remainder of what we owe for it. Furthermore, we have yet to see the money from the cancelled warranty, in the amount of $1,000. We canceled the warranty at the beginning of June and were told by Jason at Global that the money would be credited to us and go toward the total amount still owed on the vehicle. That never happened. We are not interested in paying thousands of dollars out of our pocket, which we don't have anyway, to get this car fixed, when, again, we feel that it was sold to us under deceptive sales practices. Sincerely, [redacted]

They are getting it fixed but still not fixed thanks Sent from my iPhone

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to *** ** ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
After a lengthy discussion with the credit union I was told that the loan was generated the way it was submitted. If you check the paperwork my name appears first, which was not the agreement with the financial officer at the dealer. Every piece of paperwork that I signed it was pointed out to me that I was the CO-SIGNER!!! The credit union told me that this is a ongoing problem with the smaller car lots, and they in fact should have informed me that some lending institutions will pick the persons name they wish to hold responsible for the loan. If I would have been informed of this I would not have co-signed the application. Now I am stuck with a loan I didn't want and did not apply for
***
*** ***

If you look at all of your paperwork that was done with Global Auto Sales, you will see that you are in fact the cosigner. I personally signed your paperwork with you, and even the membership application for the credit union I had you signed has you listed as the co-buyer. Each line you signed lists you as the co-buyer. On the legal contract that we signed together you are listed as the co-buyer. I can assure you that in no way, shape, or form did we do anything to alter this nor could we. You are the co-signer. If I can assist you in anyway speaking with the credit union I would happy to do so. I would also like to stress that co-signing on a loan in no way makes you any less responsible for a loan. Each signer is equally responsible for the loan

*** and myself have spent a considerable amount of time trying to find a way to best assist the *** with there issue. There vehicle was sold "As-Is" from the dealer, and the dealer is not responsible for any repairs on the vehicle. They did however purchase an extended
warranty through Elite Warranty. *** informed me of his issues several weeks ago and Global Auto wanted to do everything we could to help get the problem covered by his warranty. We had a certified mechanic shop that we partner with perform an expanded diag at no cost to the customer, and the did everything in their power to have the warranty cover the repair. However the terms and conditions of the warranty are set entirely by Elite Warranty, and their decision to cover any repair is at the sole discretion of the warranty company. Global Auto sales cannot override a denied warranty claim. Again, we value our customers satisfaction and will do anything we can to help them along with the process. Once it was determined that the warranty would not cover the issue they were having, we did everything we could to assist with the cost of the repair. We have options available such as lower priced parts and labor rates that we are always happy to pass along to our customers. After speaking with ***, it seemed that investing any amount of money into fixing the vehicle was not an option for him. We are always willing to take the vehicle in on trade, but have to take into account the current condition of the vehicle and cannot absorb the costs of a repair we are not responsible for. Our in-house service manager has worked hard to get the best possible price for the repair, and we can save them a significant amount of money fixing the vehicle in our shop. Total cost of parts for a remanufactured (not used) transmission will be approximately $- $3500. We can have the transmission replaced and will not charge the customers ANY additional amount for labor. Please contact me directly if you would like to take advantage of this offer

Global Auto has been in contact with Mr*** and we are actively working to resolve his concerns. He does have an extended warranty, and his vehicle is currently at a local service department for the repair

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:Sincerely,*** ***

Ms. [redacted] purchased her 2007 Ford Expedition on June 06, 2016.  As she has stated, she paid $1000 down payment, and signed all paperwork required to purchase the vehicle.  We also agree that after she took delivery of the vehicle it broke down.  As soon as Global Auto was informed...

of this, we immediately sent a tow truck to pick her up and took it directly to our service department.  There they discovered that the fuel pump had gone bad.  All vehicles Global Auto Sales sells comes with a minimum 90 day / 3,000 mile limited warranty that covers 50% of labor.  In an effort to provide superior service, Global paid 100% of the costs of the repair.  Once the repair was completed the customer was contacted to pick up her vehicle.  After approximately 2 days, she sent her boyfriend to pick it up.  Approximately two days later, we were informed that the vehicle was abandoned at another business's parking lot, and that they had no interest in keeping the vehicle.  The customer was approved for the vehicle, and the deal did not unwind due to lack of a bank approval. One of the requirement's of the lender's approval was to sign paperwork with the lender.  The customer did not fulfill their obligations to do so, even considering the lender was willing to offer electronic signatures.  Global Auto Sales fulfilled and exceeded all obligations under the contract, and there is no cooling off period in the State of Idaho.  At this point it is considered a voluntary repossession, and no money is able to be refunded.

I am sorry to hear about this complaint. We have discussed this with the customer as stated but our recollection is a little different. At the time of the sale the finance department was unaware it was salvaged, our mistake. It was brought to our attention on 2/8/2018 when the customer came in...

to discuss it with us. We thought we had worked out a resolution by giving him his trade in back and gave him a tank of gas. He signed a document that I attached stating he was now aware and had decided to still keep the car after we gave him his truck back. He also acknowledged it on our copy of the 502 as well. As far as we knew the problem was resolved. We would be willing to look into trading him out of the vehicle or save him some money on repairs if he chooses to keep the car, he would just have to make an appointment with our service department. Either option we will look into if he comes into the dealership on [redacted]

We had the pleasure to help [redacted], and his granddaughter with the purchase of her vehicle.  [redacted] is correct in his statement that he did agree to co-sign for her loan.  We submitted the information to the credit union, and the credit union approved the deal.  Attached is a copy...

of the loan approval, and on the bottom of the approval it states that the loan officer want's her first on all docs because she is the buyer and [redacted] is the CO-buyer.  Global Auto Sales did exactly that and all paperwork signed at the dealership shows that he is the co-buyer.  Both parties are ultimately responsible for the loan, as in any co-signer situation.  Global Auto Sales complied and followed through with [redacted]'s wishes, and unfortunately has no control over how a lender sets up a loan.  We would again like to thank them for their business, and hope they would consider withdrawing their complaint against us.

Mr. [redacted] came in numerous times to look at the vehicle purchased while trying to get arrange financing.  He spent a considerable amount of time inspecting the vehicle each time he was here.  The day that he purchased the vehicle, he took the vehicle...

to Bruneel Tire to have it independently inspected.  I do not have the results of that inspection, as it was done by the customer.  After the inspection was complete, Mr. [redacted] completed paperwork to purchase the vehicle.  There are no known issues that weren't disclosed to the customer.  He has stated that his tire blew out on the freeway which resulted in a bent wheel and the need to replace the wheel.  Global Auto Sales hold no responsibility and has no control over something like that happening.  As a courtesy, we have offered to assist Mr. [redacted] find new rims and pass our discounted costs on to him.  We are willing to stand by that offer.
