I was out on medical leave when someone from Global Business Systems called and said they were replenishing our toner. My new office manager thought it was the company that we have a service agreement with and that supplies the toner. They sent it then sent a bill which the AP department paid. We then received two more cartridges from them before I could get it stopped. I told the AP department not to pay for the second shipment. They charge ten times the amount for each cartridge. I can buy them for about $50.00, but they charge $487.00 for them. This is a total scam business. I wish I could do more to stop them from taking advantage of other businesses. They will set up a recurring shipment if you do not stop it right at the beginning. I am not going to get the original amount we paid back. But after calling and emailing Lauren Mitchell at Global Business Systems several times and refusing to pay the second invoice(it took several months to get her to call me, and then she called for our AP department not me) they are refunding me for the second shipment. Only because I haven't paid it yet. She did manage to throw in our conversation something about avoiding sending it to the legal team when we talked about the first invoice that I paid and wanted a refund on. That sounded like a scare tactic to me. The email she said she must have not seen from me also seemed shady. Once they had the contact for my AP department, they seemed relentless in wanting to deal with them and not me. Another way to try and get your money from you and never give it back. THIS COMPANY IS NOT LOOKING OUT FOR YOUR INTERESTS AND IS CHARGING ALMOST TEN TIMES THE AMOUNT FOR CARTRIDGES. DO NOT USE THEM AND TELL YOUR BUSINESS ASSOCIATES ABOUT THEM.

The apartment complex I manage received a cold call from this company saying the price of the printer ink we'd ordered had gone up and that they needed to confirm our order. We never ordered nor received any printer ink from this company, but got an invoice a few weeks later for printer ink that was priced at about $300 more than we pay from our legitimate office supplies company.

I called the number on the invoice and spoke to the operator at this "company", who told me the shipment had been damaged on delivery and had been returned to them by UPS.

This is clearly a scam business that operates on cold calling and bilking money out of companies by maneuvering through their internal bureaucracy. By no means should anyone order or accept shipment from Global Business Systems.

I was called at my office on 7/12/16 by someone (named Jeff) wanting to inform me that the prices on my printer toner were going up. I didn't think too much of it at the time because I had literally just placed an order with our company who we've been using for years a few days previous, and it had just been delivered, so I thought it was them telling me that their pricing was changing. He told me I'd receive a call the next day to "confirm my order" which I thought was odd since it'd just been delivered. But, before I could say so, or anything, for that matter, he ended the conversation by telling me that all I had to do was "give verbal permission" to whoever called. That also sounded super sketchy, but again, before I could say anything, he ended the conversation and hung up. Which brings us to today, 7/14/16. Some woman calls mentioning the same things: That our prices have gone up and that they're sending me a new order, to which I told her that we already received toner on Monday and that she should cancel this one, which I, or anyone else in the office, had not placed. So now I guess we'll just have to see if they give up and actually send nothing, like I asked, or if they do the sketchy thing (Which I'm kinda guessing is going to happen...) and send it anyway. From the sounds of the complaints, I'm not the only one who's gotten this call. So just be careful, they're out to get as much money from you as they can, and don't even have your business.
