To whom it may concern,Global Car Rental now states A MONTH LATER in their reply to Revdex.com that I can contact them at the email address they provided and are willing to refund my money and gas; however, when I desperately tried to get my refund so I could get to work and get my daughter to school, they completely ignored me and never attempted to come to a resolution.  I am now suing them in small claims court.  Evidently, they received the Warrant-in-Debt since they stated they can not pay me for lost wages.  At the time I requested my refund from them directly, I had no lost wages.  All I wanted was my money back so I could get something else. They refused to give me a refund and never attempted to contact me afterwards. They left us stranded, and showed absolutely no regard for us needing to get to work or school which completely disrupted our lives.  NOW, I have lost wages. I will see them in court.

To whom it
may concern,                                    ... 5-15-17am            When Ms. [redacted] rented
originally she was in a hurry.  I stated
that our vehicles’ were just returned and I’m the only one in the office. I
asked if she could wait to have it cleaned, she did not want to. Later on that
evening she had issues with the van (ended up being a loose battery cable) she
was irate and very angry. I told her I could switch her out and have a tow
truck get her. She was at a gas station on broad. About a hr. later she said
she got it started and would come and switch out here at our location. Ms.
[redacted] agreed and swap to a [redacted]. I told her I would take care of
anything else the next day due to it being late and her stating she had a small
child with her riding around [redacted]. Not an hour goes by she said the impala
she just got was smoking.  I asked where
she was. She said she was back on [redacted].
I said what is it doing?  She said
it’s just smoking. Come get it from [redacted]. I asked why she couldn’t go back
to our location since she was on broad. She said she was not coming back. That
we could pick it up in [redacted] she needed to get home. I said well ok if you
want to blow it up.  I’m trying to help
you get home safe. She was by our location, so I was confused as to why she
would not come back, there was another vehicle waiting for her, we had ready in
case of an emergency for customers. She then didn’t tell me or notify my office
that she then left the car at the gas pump when she could clearly have moved it
to a parking space.  She had gas pumps blocked.
When my co-workers got to the vehicle the next day they did a diagnostic test and
pick it up. It ran perfectly fine. We even were able to rent it right away
still to this date 5-16-17 there are no issues with the vehicle. So as to her
calling the next day I politely as possible let her know I cannot do refunds it
is policy. As well as posted throughout the office and in her agreement. I can
make it right or refund her the deposit. She would not accept that and said our
company owes her for taxi rides, and time off from work and cleaning supplies,
etc. I cannot pay her for cleaning a vehicle she refused to wait on to be
cleaned at the time of renting. Also when we found out that the gas station
tried to have the car towed due to her neglecting at this gas pump. And nothing
was wrong with it. We then do not give deposits back. To resolve this matter I
still tried to give it back anyway and her gas she purchased for the vehicle.
No way or how should my company pay her the amount of money she is asking. This
is not fair or accurate at all.Feel free to
contact me with any further comments or concerns.  Cristina

Review: purchase a vehicle for the weekend and all the cars he had on this lot was old and beat up look like gun shot down and of course they were dents in all the cars his advertising web shows up to date cars and when I got there it was a shack with the old model cars. Well with the time I had I made the choice to go ahead and make the purchase cause I was do for a wedding. I was told to place 270 down and would get a 100 dollars back if I get it back by 5pm Monday by me having to work my mother, father and daughter took the car back before cut off time and the first thing this man locks my daughter up in his place business and call the police and also told her that she would be arrested for driving his car with no permission and said all that happened with this was recorded and not just her will be arrested but me as well. The whole thing is that the man was rude and he tried to impersonate being a policeman and told me and family to never come back to his place of business. I called him the next day to tone the situation down and all he did was argue and said he would place me under arrest and hung up in my face. Out of all of this this man name manny is a fake so call want to be cop but also is a snitch and he running a business under fraud this place should be shut down right away and he should be the one arrested for taking something so far.

Regards,

Review: I rented a vehicle for a week and was disdain with the condition of the vehicle. The side panels were missing, the sunroof didn't seal or close, the gear shift kept getting stuck. I asked to exchange it and they said no vehicles were available and that I had to have been in the vehicle for three days and that if I return it I wouldn't be given a refund. They called me the following Friday at 3:25p and asked was I keeping it for the weekend and I stated I was at work and would be there before 4pm. When I arrived at 3:40pm they said I was supposed to be back by 3p and didn't return my deposit!Desired Settlement: If I had decided to keep the damaged vehicle they would have returned my money on money. I want my deposit back and they need to be exposed for the terrible conditions of their vehicles. How can they rent such vehicles in ill repair?

This issue is not resolved as I assumed would be the case. Im not going to hire a lawyer which is more than the deposit was worth. Their cars are of ill condition and if their were laws regulating this they would be fined. I dont care how long I've been a customer, I needed a car and that's how they thrive; making money off the desperate.[redacted]
