Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:- You mention that you communicated with State Farm about the cost of storage, but there was no communication to me. - See attachment for invoice date 11-29. That is how long it took for Kate to send me the correct invoice removing the cost of a Home Depot charge that was in error. This was only fixed after I asked to see a receipt.- Please see "no followup on mechanic assessment email" Katy said she "will ask a mechanic to check it out today" on 12/but I didn't hear anything back. I finally emailed on back on 12/and told her that someone will pickup on 12/5. - See email "no indication for cost of operator" attached. Katy says "we will need to find an available heavy equipment operator to transfer the boat from our trailer to his"In your response you said that Austin came unprepared and you had to find someone to help him. I spoke with Austin and he said he wasn't told there would be a charge and I wasn't informed either. Your company lacks transparency in your billing. There was never an apology offered when the charges were in error twice. I would like to see documentation that I had approved of costs for the addition $and for cost of someone moving the boat. I even talked to Lisa on the phone and told her exactly how much to charge on my credit cards. I have the voicemail she left the following day telling me she charged more. Please show me the service cost list for storage and moving of the boat and my authorizing the cost of these. I will be submitting all documents to the attorney general
Sincerely,

January 22, 2018Re: Complaint *** *** ***Global Diving & Salvage, Inc.'s position is as follows,Global was contracted to remove the customer's vessel, which was accomplished expediently. When the vessel was removed, we were asked by the insurance broker of the customer if there would be
any chargesfor storage at our facilityWe stated that we would not charge any if the vessel was immediately removed (a coupleof days at most), as a courtesy to the customerUnbeknownst to us, the insurance company tendered salvage rightsto the customer, who was then personally responsible to remove the vessel from our yardIt remained at our yard forover a month longer than originally providedThe customer eventually made arrangements with a third party toaccept the boat (I believe on Craigslist), and when that individual arrived, they were completely unprepared to take itawayWe then obligated one of our employees to assist with loading and securing the vessel to a makeshift trailer, which took an additional couple of hours. As per our contract with the customer, she was responsible for all charges incurred, which is why we invoiced her foradditional facility charges and employee's time to address the situationWe did mail a copy of the invoice to thecustomer, and emailed her a copy when requested.Global does not agree with the disputed amount, and has no intention of refunding the customer.Respectfully,Devon G***CEOGlobal Diving & Salvage, Inc
