This is when we asked for a refund [redacted] said he would give us our money back but he couldn't write a check right now because he is not good for the money and it would be a "hot check" but he would have half the money for us after he had some more jobs that week, then the other half after a few more jobs the following week Since he wouldn't give us a check and would not do the demo and redo the project like he offered, we didn't know what to do and said "All we have is your word ***" and he said "That's all I've got Im not going anywhere I'll make it right." [redacted] Complaint   I successfully applied for and received the necessary permits required by the City of Ft Worth and followed the processes. I received green tags by the City Inspector during the construction phase to continue w the work I was hired to do. I have all the...

signatures or can request them from the City to support this claim. Not sure that the Texas Property Codes apply too this project as the proper permit was secured prior to the work beginning, I am not the Homeowner just the Contractor. The Homeowner would have to prove this claim. Same w the Statutory Notices, Homeowner would need to prove this claim. I have never claimed to be a Registered Bonded Contractor, I am however, registered w the City of Ft Worth as a contractor. It is a yearly fee.  I have been in busy for over 16 yrs and have an extensive portfolio of successful projects. I believe the [redacted] were given a favorable referral by another homeowner on their neighborhood message board.  I have a folder 2" thick of receipts for all materials and labor spent on this job.  During the final inspection I was asked by the City Inspector to complete more than I anticipated in order to gain a green tag, which was passed. My customer was aware of the situation and I did ask for the 2nd installment outlined in my contract agreed to by the [redacted], they issued the check too me. My workmanship is fine as I passed the final inspection and was ready to move on to the next phase of construction. I completed all necessary requirements by the City of Ft Worth.  Some of my employees are Hispanic and we communicate thru translators whenever necessary. They are very skilled and we do just fine...   [redacted] GLOBAL LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION SERVICES [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Mr. [redacted] failed to satisfy the complaint for the following:1) Mr. [redacted] did procure the permit and pass inspection of the partial installation of the project. What he does not acknowledge is that he failed 4 inspections due to workmanship and code compliance. This cost an additional three weeks of delay and I do not know how much the re-inspection fees were. The final inspection and acceptance by the city inspector is not part of the complaint. 2) Mr. [redacted] claims the Texas Property codes do not apply to him, I disagree. The attached demand letter specifies the code violations committed by Mr. [redacted]. He does admit he is a contractor and did accept a bid to work on our property as such, he is liable for the violations. Mr. [redacted]'s admitted ignorance of the codes proves our complaint, he is not qualified to be a contractor and should not be one.3) Mr. [redacted]'s claims that the statutory notices do not apply to him is in error. We prove our claim in the demand letter and evidence of his non-compliance is on the estimate he provided, included in the attachments. Again, Mr. [redacted]'s admitted ignorance of the codes proves out claim.4) Mr. [redacted] is lying, in February when he presented the final estimate at our home, we specifically asked him if he was bonded and insured. He said he was. I instructed him at that time that we would not be liable for any injuries or damages to him or his crew, he stated emphatically that we had nothing to worry about. Again, I think Mr. [redacted]'s ignorance and incompetence speaks for itself, in his own words.5) Mr. [redacted] claims to have a 2" thick file of receipts. This proves our claim. We want copies of those receipts, as described by the estimate he provided and required by Texas Property Codes. In addition, our complaint specifically request the copies of all materials purchased and that Mr. [redacted] refund the unused portion of the $14,000.00 he received from us for the materials. We repeatedly requested copies of the receipts, both verbally and via text message (copies available), Mr. [redacted] refused. We request an opportunity to review the receipts and validate Mr. [redacted]'s claims of how much material was actually purchased. We have acknowledged the costs incurred by him, we just want what rightfully belongs to us under his own estimate and Texas Property code.6)Mr. [redacted] claims to have had bilingual crews, as stated on his estimate. He then replies to this complaint that instead of bilingual, he used interpreters. He did not, he had Spanish speaking crews who had only limited understanding of English, and Mr. [redacted] is not bilingual. This is not relevant to the complaint, my problem is he wasted a large portion of materials and time arguing with his own crew on how to do the construction. Most of which I have had to re-accomplish.7) Mr. [redacted]'s claim to quality workmanship is also a lie. Attached are photos of his so called quality work. Judge for yourself.
Regards,
[redacted]

Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below.[redacted] was hired to pour a new patio and walk path. We had multiple bids from contractors for this project. [redacted] basically begged for the job and offered to come off his price to get it.  We did not ask for a discount.  We provided the exact design plans we wanted ourselves, which [redacted] said they look great and wouldn't change a thing.  A signed, itemised receipt proves that the price agreed upon before project the began includes all things, including rock salt finish and color-which we provided. NO design changes were made during the project-we caught multiple mistakes in the process and brought them to the attention of [redacted].  The design plans were exact and he had changed, added and altered them in the layout of the yard.  We caught and corrected this. The job was NEVER completed.  Only the patio was poured and not the walk path. When [redacted] arrived to pour walk path, we discussed the issues with him on the concrete dramatically sloping towards house and holding water-and about how awful the concrete itself looked with multiple cold joints, board marks, and an amateur finish.  He said "Im sick about this.  This is just sad. I am so sorry. I will make it right." Even his workers were shocked at how bad it looked and asked us "what happened?" when they saw it.  He said that he would demo it out and redo it for us. Revdex.comMESSAGE FROM BUSINESS:
[redacted], Owner, received the consumer's rejection comments.  As a final response, he did not beg for the job and did not offer to lower the price the consumer asked for the price to be lower.  What the consumer alleges in the rebuttal did not happen.  Tony stated he did send the consumer a thoughtful business email to the consumer which he can provide.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute.
The pictures alone speak for themselves in regards to the quality of work that was completed. Attached are only 5 and that is just the start... I have 100 pictures printed and ready to be filled with the court. Some of the pictures are from the start of his work and throughout the process which shows how he installed the patio. At this point there is no part of the patio, other than the original slab that came with the home, that does not have a major crack in the concrete. So to state that not taking it out and starting over is not required to ensure a strong foundation is wrong. However, I have given [redacted] multiple opportunities to make this right... even his way. I have all text messages from the start of our working relationship and emails to show this. Below I have copied and pasted the last correspondences'' between [redacted] and I. You can read where [redacted] reached out to me stating he was going to come fix it, after I told him that I would allow him to do it his way with a contingency of future issues that may arise, he needs to fix. Since he did not want to demo the entire patio and start over. When this time came he no called and no showed to do the work. I first reached out to him about the very first crack and the roof leaking on 10-21-2015... I have given him 2 months to do something especially before it got worse. As far as [redacted]'s claim of me being "derogatory" goes I have never called names or said anything that was not true. So if he chooses to take it that way then the truth hurts. You can actually go to HomeAdvisor.com (which is where I found him) and see the amazing review I wrote about his work. This of course was immediately after the completion and everything looked amazing... he completed on Monday Oct. 12, 2015. I have reached out to HomeAdvisor and they have not taken down that review yet. If [redacted] feels that a customer should not have expectations then he is in wrong line of work, of course a client will have expectations... especially when it is part of their home. Of course a client is going to be upset and take the necessary actions when something they were promised, an extension of their home, something that has been saved up for is breaking right in front of their eyes. Then when I reach out, multiple times, and there is no immediate care to resolve or own the situation it is disheartening to say the least. If [redacted] was so concerned about his reputation and standing behind his work then this never would have escalated. This will never be resolved until I get a refund so I can hire someone to demo and start all over. [redacted] has every chance to stand up and show he is a true business owner and does care by doing the right thing and giving me a refund. I also offered to hire another company to come out, give an estimate, and he can pay that company directly. This way he can see the money is going right back into what I hired him for. I have not heard anything from [redacted] since 12/12/15 since he responded to this complaint, which shows that he does not care about making this right.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11157244, and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute.
Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below. The reason I asked [redacted] not to come back to my property was because during every step of this job he lied to me when he was in the process of destroying my sprinkler system he lied again and I had enough of that so I called a licensed Irrigator to inspect the work and the French drain was installed incorrectly and it also cost me 900 dollars to repair the damage he did to my sprinkler system. I believe I also attached the estimates and explanations for the damage he did and the work he did was incorrect . This situation has been filed with the courts and [redacted] will be served soon. I gave him every opportunity to avoid this situation by just reimbursing the original 1500 I paid him for this botched job and he has declined. So now I'm taking him to court for the 900 it cost me to fix my sprinkler system, and the 4100 it's going to cost to fix the French drain properly and the 73 dollars it cost to fix the gas line he illegally repaired incorrectly . Keep in mind he also stated to me that he repairs gas lines like this all the time. So I wonder how many customers have a ticking time bomb under the ground leaking gas or propane ???  The reason I will not let this man near my property again is because I warned him of all these possible  consequenes numerous times during the job process and he just ignored me and proceeded to rip into my sprinkler system and tear up the gas line then he lied to me after I told him NOT to combine to sprinkler zones he did it anyway and claimed it was all fixed that's when I asked him not to come back and I called the licensed irrigator to fix it all. The cost of the job was 3100 total I paid him 1500 and that balance in the real world should have been 1600 yet [redacted] insists I owe him 2087 ?? I think I have shown enough proof that this business should not be doing this type of work since now after the rains we just had my back yard with his French drain is like a swamp. I will be providing those pictures for the judge as well. Im sorry to sound so harsh but this guy should not be in business ripping people off I have read numerous complaints on him and its time someone steps up and puts this guy in his place.
