Review: My vehicle is insured by Global Liberty Insurance Company of New York. I have "FULL" coverage, inclusive of "COMPREHENSIVE COVERAGE". On 10/**/13 I was involved in an accident when a deer hit my vehicle. I immediately filed a claim and they sent an appraiser to assess the damages. Thereafter they advised via correspondence that they have chosen not to process the claim and pay for damages sustained. They have totally breached their contractual obligations, even in light of the fact that my policy covers such type incidents under "comprensive coverage".Desired Settlement: I expect them to honor their contractual obligations under my active full policy coverage, and pay for the costs to repair the damages sustained to my vehicle as a result of the October **, 2013 accident.

I have attached a copy of the declaration page of [redacted]’s Policy and our letter of denial for his claim. You will see (in the lower portion of the Dec. Page) he purchased “Specific Perils” providing Fire, Theft and Collision coverage with a $1,000 dollar deductible. This type of accident was not covered since it was not a Fire or Theft. Collision does not apply when an accident involves an animal. Had he purchased Full Comprehensive coverage this type of claim would normally have been a covered loss but he did not purchase Comprehensive Coverage he purchased Specific Peril coverag.
