Review: Had a reservation with the company for about a week and half. Company called asking me to come in and bring a 200 dollar deposit. Told them no problem and brought th emoney in within hours. After I handed the money over, the owner or boss came out cursing saying he didnt want my service. Also when I asked to see the bus, they said okay but it was no what it was advertised at all. Owner was rude, threw money in my face. Hours before pickup and after the store was closed they called to tell me that they had cancled my reservation and were not picking me up. This was on birthday. The owner name is [redacted]. The person who take my resevation name was [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like an apology and also an explantion to why my service was denied. This was rude and out of control.

**. [redacted];

On Saturday October 12th, 2013 [redacted] called our office to inquire about rates for a mini bus to be used to transfer guests to a birthday party. Our dispatcher [redacted] provided the rates and was given the reservation information, The service date was October 25th, 2013. The day before service, we received a call from **. [redacted] confirming his arrangement: for October 25th, 2013 and inquiring as to whether we permit “beverages” on board. Our reservation stated that if they wanted to bring beverages, it would be a $200,00 security deposit for cleanup and it must be paid in cash.

**, [redacted] arrived to our office with $200.00 cash and commenced to tell us exactly what he wanted to do with his group while on our bus, it was a celebration of his 21st birthday. Their intention was to bring a keg or beer on board and “bar hop”, **. [redacted] at that time was underage, we assume some of his “guests” where underage as well,

Under the Pa Public Utility Code, motor carriers have the right to refuse service to anyone who might be involved in illegal activity. Our driver would be held legally responsible for underage drinking on our vehicles,

I advised **. [redacted] that we do not do this type of work and that he should not expect the service, I handed him back the $200,00 cash and he refused to accept it and tossed it on the floor and promptly left the building.

Our dispatcher called **, [redacted] that evening and advised him not to expect service, **. [redacted] returned to our office on Monday October 28th, 2013 to receive his $200.00 cash deposit.

I am rejecting this response because: the facts are not true. I did not have any underage guests on the bus nor do I ever say anything about anyone being underage. In fact I insured the company that everyone was in fact 21. I simply asked if we were allowed to drink on the bus. If the answer was no, then it would have been okay. I was being polite and asking. I never said we were going to do it. I had asked first to see if it was allowed or not. I also did not throw the money on the floor. The manager and owner of the company, took the money and waved it in my face, actually making contact with my face, while being rude and using inappropriate language, that made me feel threatened. I said, "Sir I do not want the money, I would like the bus." His co -workers, two heavy set men, then insisted that I should leave and not to worry because they would pick me up and I would have a good time. So I left without the money. Also, when I had placed the reservation, the man on the phone said they do this all the time, as I told him that we would be bar hoping at the time of the reservation, and it would not be a problem. I would never bring a keg on a board. That is just an outrageous claim and proves that his story is false and full of lies. As a college student I would not throw 200 dollars that I needed on the floor. He took the money and called me after hours and said that I could come monday to pick it up. When I called on monday, the man and lady gave me the run around on the phone. I had to wait till the late afternoon in order to pick up my money, when I was told I could pick it up at 9AM. Lastly, the company refused to give me the copy they took of my credit card and photo id. I do not wish for this to be on record at such a disgraceful company. There was no illegal activity taking part on the bus or with the bus, and them using this a reason to cancel is a fraud and once again shows this company and man is a liar and con- artist.

Regards,
