I do apologize [redacted] if this situation has cause any convenience but you will have to understand we(Global Membership Services) have done all we can do within our policy to help you with the cancelation request of your accountOn 11/13/we have received a call from [redacted] regarding her account with us (Global Membership Services) stating that she wanted to cancel her account for her child due to medical reasonsAt this time the pollcy for Disability (Medical Cancellation) was explained and that pollcy States,"Art10.The Student may extend the of the agreement at no additional cost for a period of time equal to the duration of a disability where the students disability precludes the student from using one-third or more of the facilities for a period of less than months and the disability is verified by a physicianThe student or his/her legal representative may cancel the agreement if the student dies or becomes permanently disabledA permanent disability means a condition which precludes the student from using one-third or more of the facilities for months or more and the condition is verified by a physician."This is the policy we refer all of our clients to when the topic/request of medical cancellation arisesAfter explaining this policy to [redacted] she sent an email with a doctor's note on 11/13/at which time she was told it would take 24hrs to 48hrs to process her requestWe declared that the doctor’s note was Insufficient due to the lack of information and detail of the disability for the student and we explained to [redacted] the reason we could not accept her noteAt this time there were calls still being made to [redacted] about her accounts delinquencyDue to the insufficient doctor's note and Global Membership Services policy [redacted] account still remains active to this dateThe client also refers to a "Gerald and Peter “in her complaint but to correct this and clear any confusion We do not have any employees under those names [redacted] account was handling by my staff member "Jeroh" and me "Paul S***”.With our agreements it states clearly on the front of the form that,*By Signing below, Students, parents or guardians agree to each and every term and condition on the reverse side of this agreement1/We understand that this authorization will remain in full force and effect until termination dateStudent agrees to pay the tuition as set forth below.” [redacted] We have explained to [redacted] that since we have her signature on our contract which she signed 3/13/that all of our polices within our terms and conditions remain in full force and until we receive sufficient proof her account will remain active.Regarding the matter of the employee who apparently called [redacted] ridiculous and hung up on her when she requested to be transferred, that matter has been investigated and proper disciplinary actions have been taken upon said employeeWhile the employee has admitted to his mistake and claimed his actions were not appropriate followed by his resignation at the employees own will, it came to Light that he did not hang up on [redacted] when she requested to be transferred to his managerThe call was transferred to the head manager and when he tried taking the phone off hold he disconnected the call unintentionally and quickly tried re-contacting [redacted] The manager received [redacted] voicemail and continued to leave an apology for the drop called and for [redacted] to please give us a call back so we can discuss the matter at handAt that point we have not received a call back.Within [redacted] complaint her dates of the calls are accurate with our system, but according to our records we have place multiple calls to client between her datesWithin some of our voicemails set to [redacted] It was explained that her account will not be cancelled due to the insufficient proof received and due our terms and conditionsWe have also mailed [redacted] a copy of her agreement on several occasions and do not have a reason nor answer on why she has not received copy of her contract but we have informed [redacted] the academy has the original contract she has signed and she could acquire a copy of the agreement there.To sum up the response above we have acquired [redacted] email and will re-send her another copy of her contract and her terms and conditions today 2/27/so she will have all requested documentationWe (Global Mernbership Services) will continue to follow our policy concerning [redacted] request and we will not cancel the membership until a sufficient disability letter is receivedAny and all questions can be answered at ###-###-#### EXT ***., Thank You,Paul S*Account managerGlobal Membership Services

[redacted] As of reviewing your recent submission to this compliant I do apologize if you feel you're being harassedWe at Global Membership Services have a specific policy pertaining to the cancellation of the account and as we explained before (pertaining to the proof submitted on 11/13/14) that the proof you have submitted was not valid for cancel for said reason,“This doctor's note does not state [redacted] should not participate in Taekwondo class nor does it State his health is at risk from participating in Taekwondo class, it is not clear enough from this doctor's note that [redacted] health is in danger from participating Taekwondo classes, nor does it state he has a permanent disability limiting him from Taekwondo participationIf he has missed classes due to illness and wheezing, they may extend the term of the agreement at no additional cost for the period of time equal to the duration of his illness,”On 3/19/we have received a letter from you including another form of proof for the cancellation request on your accountAfter reviewing said proof it has been deemed as of 3/25/that your account is now eligible to be cancelledThe new proof we received on 3/19/was legible and pertained to our cancellation clause.So as confirmation you will receive a letter and email indicating the recent proof submitted dated 2/25/has approved the cancellation of your contract.| hope all concerns you may have are now resolved and if you still have concerns you can always contact Global Membership Services.PaulAccount ManagerGlobal Membership Services

I am rejecting this response because:
The company is lying about providing me with a copy of the contract at my initial request.  The company was deliberately vague with me about required language for the doctor note, which I inquired about on the phone with Paul (the account manager referenced) prior to scheduling the doctor visit for the note.  It was not until several weeks later that I was finally provided with the specific language necessary for the contract to be canceled (after I had already visited our physician and had a note written).  In addition, the harassment and inappropriate interaction that I have received with the representatives of this company have made me not want to stay in contact with GMS to resolve this matter.  At this point, I am happy to provide the Revdex.com with a recent pulmonary report for my child, which indicates that his lung capacity is well below normal for children his age.  I will not schedule another doctor appointment for the sake of obtaining a note for GMS, when they deliberately mislead me last year.  Beyond that, I humbly request that the Revdex.com intervene in the matter.  I prefer not to pursue legal action in resolving this issue.  Thank you.
