Mr [redacted] signed a contract and bought a discolored pool and chose not to come and see the product before installingHe also checked over the pool when it arrived at his house and saw no problems with this poolHe wanted to "save" money is why he chose a discolored pool.So youll see this is why he has such a HUGE discount on his contractWe have tried working with this homeowner and he refuses to be sensible about itHe wants to smear our business name on Social media and we will not be involved with someone who wishes to spread allegations as he had doneThe owner of the LSFP, [redacted] ***, has spoken to Mr [redacted] and he was still unwilling to even listen to ***As the owner of a fiberglass manufacturing company, he knows how to perform repairs on these pools and has a lot more experience with fiberglass than mr [redacted] but he still chose not to listen to ***He wants to try to tell people we are not a reputable company and claim we might "damage" his poolWe are not willing to give him any money toward thisif he wanted it "repaired" LSFP gave him options, he declinedLSFP didnt have to even go and evaluate for discolored spots since he again purchased without a color warranty by signing and buying a discolored poolIve uploaded the copy of the signed contract so youll see where he was aware of thisAll customers are invited and encouraged to make a trip to the factory and watch their pool be built, even in this instance where a pool is already built and ready for install, wether it be discolored or not, they are still invited to come see their poolCustomers always do this because they can see their actual pool and then know if they are for sure on their colorIf they aren't for the color they ad chosen we then can make a new pool at their color choice againMr [redacted] never came to see his pool, again, he chose this pool sight unseen since he was looking for a discount

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: LSFP never invited me to see the process as they claimedAlso they completely failed to fully disclose all the issues with the poolI was not looking for a "discounted products" as allegedI did tell [redacted] the budget I had to work withinThere is a major differenceThe remedy suggested by [redacted] is not acceptable because of a tarnished relationship between us a LSFP and my dear they will further damage the pool and refuse to fix it Regards, [redacted] ***

Let me start by saying the sub contractor DOES indeed warranty their work for 1 year. When it comes to a sub contractors work the homeowners are informed prior to ever buying the pool and again when reading an signing their contract that their warranty is through the sub directly and Lonestar is...

simply the middle man at that point and trying to assist the homeowner. In this event Lonestar can not reach the subcontract that was responsible for the work so Lonestar has tried looking for alternatives to fix the problem. The homeowner has never been "PUT OFF". The homeowner wants to lay the blame on Lonestar solely and isn't be reasonable when it comes to the "looks". Once concrete was poured in the beginning it will not ever look he same being poured on another date, therefore it will not match. That's what was explained to the homeowner numerous times one moment she was ok with that then the next she wasn't ok with it. Lonestar will look at the cracks at the one area by the handrail,(this seems to be the area that is needing to be addressed since it's the area she is most concerned with. The fix for this is: Lonestar will cut a 3' area up at the handrail and have it repoured. The concrete will NOT match the existing concrete. Hairline cracks are NOT covered by concrete warranty due to the fact that ALL CONCRETE CRACKS. We take every precaution in trying to prevent this but we do NOT garuntee that it won't crack.  Any cosmetic requests that homeowner makes regarding colors or "aesthetics" will be at the homeowner expense. Lonestar will not cover any cosmetic changes. The homeowner contract does state that "concrete cracks".
