Global Premier Soccer Reviews (%countItem)

My son withdraw from this soccer program and did not even make to the start of the season and only played in 1 preseason tournament and they only had a handful of practices. We left the program because the program did not meet what was promise on their web site and what was promise from the coaching staff regarding to play and how the coaching staff delt with morale and welfare of its players. In addition, we have the following issues too:
1. Allowing 2 parent coaches to run a team
2. Coaches being unapproachable, aggressive and non-welcoming
3. The way they look after injuries and how they administrator first aid
4. Other safety issues
5. Divisions GPS management allow on the team and program
6. Sportsmanship, The way the coach over look certain players behaviors, esp how they comfort officials
7. Lack of communication from GPS *** and management without response after 3 days

We had two children take part in the GPS programs. Our son had a very different experience than our daughter. In year one she had a great coach, and made great progress. Halfway through year two that coach retired and the rest of that season was problematic. We had coaches that failed to show up, and poor communication with parents. Practices and game warmups that players had to start on their own and the coach would join in when they got there. The next year we were assigned two coaches (one for the red team and one for the white), practices were still being started by the girls and we had several games where due to poor communication, began with parents coaching instead of coaches. One coach was constantly away on business and the other was not a great communicator to parents. The rosters weren't balanced and our daughter often had to play games without any subs, or even without enough players on the field. At the end of that season we sat down with several of the admin and promises were made that were not kept. The coach who was constantly away for work would only miss a few weeks, (that didn't happen). We would be assigned a second coach who because she was full time would be able to anticipate roster shortages and keep them from happening, (that also didn't happen, she moved back to England halfway through the year). On at least three occasions parents had to step in and coach games because the new coach/absent coach didn't show up. It is an expensive program and although at one time the coaching was good for the girls, that is no longer the case. The team my daughter played on has basically dissolved because so many parents and players were frustrated on the poor quality of the program/coaching. Things like weekly reports were not completed and we did not receive player evaluations unless we specifically asked for them. Both of those things are supposed to happen automatically according to their program's information. When we asked to have some of our tuition refunded we were offered a "credit" which will do us no good since we are not continuing on with the GPS program. We would like the credit offered to be refunded to us, since on several occasions we did the job of their coaches and coached games, and warmups.
