Global Resolutions Group, LLC (GRG) is sorry to hear that Ms*** had an experience in which she believes we are a scamWe have performed a thorough investigation by reviewing both the account notes and the call recordings from Ms***’s account. GRG received Ms***’s account from our
client, *** *** *** *** on March 9, On our first attempt to contact, April 3, 2018, our representative made one call to each of the four numbers that came with the accountMessages were left on each of these numbers in an attempt to locate Ms***Upon review of these messages there was no claim that we have their social security numbersOne of the messages it did state that she will need her social security number to provide identificationDue to security policies and laws all individuals are identified correctly by their social security numbersThis ensures we are speaking to the correct individual and that personal information is not being disclosed to the wrong partyThat is not a scam, but the standard in the industry and a requirement by all our clientsNo further calls were made and the account was closed on April 6th when we received this Revdex.com complaint.In regards to our website, we are not quite sure what Ms*** meansHer claim is that “even a young adult could have made it up”, however the site clearly shows the name of the web development that designed itIf you review the site, globalrg.com, you can clearly see there are more options than what Ms*** claims within her complaintWhile she is correct that the website contains tabs to apply for employment and to file a complaint, the complaint tab does not ask for any personal information other than name, address and phone number as well as a field to enter in the nature of the complaintAt no point does it ask for information such as a social security number as she statesThe website actually contains links to Consumer Resources such as *** *** the Consumer Handbook via USA.gov and the FTC outlining the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. Unfortunately, Ms*** is correct that there are suites unoccupied in our building at Commerce DriveWhile GRG is fully functional in suite we cannot explain as to why anyone from the building management would tell anyone that we do not exist in that space. GRG closed this account and returned it to our client when we received this complaint from the Revdex.com and recommended to them that they close it alsoMs*** will not receive any calls from GRG going forward. We would also like to reiterate to the Revdex.com that GRG is not a scam, is a licensed collection company incorporated in NY and also registered with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) as is required by all collection agencies.Sincerely,Michael H***Director of ComplianceGlobal Resolution Group

account.Our representative had several conversations with Ms*** thru out the month of April Each week Ms*** would promise to make a payment on that FridayWhen that day would arrive each week, the payment would decline and Ms*** would ask if she could do the payment the following weekThe collector agreed to give Ms*** the additional time each weekOn the third week Ms*** contacted our office and explained that she had a family emergency and could not make the full payment because she couldn’t get to the bankThe collector said that she cannot postpone the payment any more without returning it to our clientShe also stated that our client may take other means to recover the debtOur client does pursue legal means to recover delinquencies after prototypical collection efforts failMs*** then said she could place $on the account that day and will see if a friend could help her out. Ms*** called back to place the next payment on a friends’ credit card and stated that this was a one-time payment methodFurther payments would revert back to her debit cardThe collector agreed to this and said further payments will be placed on her card.Ms*** called once again as apparently the following payment was placed on the friends’ card in errorThe agent apologized to Ms*** and provided two options in order to correct the errorGlobal could refund the friends’ card and just resume the remaining payments on the consumers’ cardOr the consumer could pay the friend back as presumably the funds were available as agreed uponThe collector also stated that for the error Global would credit her one of her two remaining payments giving her the choice of which payment to creditThe consumer asked for this to be explained several times and at one point stated that she was under anesthesiaAfter the third time repeating the options the consumer stated she would pay the friend directly as it was quicker. At no point do we believe the collector on these calls was rude to Ms***I have included a copy of the call in which she agrees to paying the friend back herself to show the collector was professional and pleasantThe collector did apologize for the error and explained it was just that, an error because the friends card was the last one used and the system just ran it againAt no time did the collector or Global as an entity try to commit fraud against Ms*** as she states in her complaintGlobal feels that by crediting one payment of $is generous in taking culpability for an error.
