Review: I did some side computer work for them on Sept 13, 2013. I was supposed to receive a check for my services in November. I received a call from someone representing this company in early November saying they had an issue in their accounting and someone was sending out fraudulent checks. I said I hadn't received mine yet. They said once I did, try to deposit it. I received the check shortly after, which bounced when I deposited it. I called them back and left a message with the recruiter I worked with. He never returned my call. I did this for a couple weeks. No responses. I then started dialing every extension of their office and leaving voicemails on every phone. I eventually got a call back from someone early Dec. [redacted]? He said he apologized and hadn't heard anything about this and would get me out a check right away. It is the end of December and I have STILL not received a check. Adding insult to injury, I received a $19 NSF fee for the bounced check they sent me so not only am I out the $17/hr x 8.5 hours, but I am also out the additional $19.Desired Settlement: I want my payment for services plus the additional money I lost due to the bounced check.
