Review: I requested to have a 60 inch television shipped from the USA to Guyana, and was told numerous times that I would receive two separate invoices. One invoice for the amount to be shipped and one for the insurance of the television was to be provided to me. I received the invoice for the billing of the shipping of the television but not for the insurance. I was told that I would received shipping voucher of the insurance but I did not receive such. It took numerous attempts and finally an in person visit before I received a NEW receipt with the insurance and value of my television on it. They refused to give me a copy of the previous receipt even though it was voided. They were unprofessional in every aspect of their business and refused to work with customers and explain proper procedures.Desired Settlement: Due the fact that I suffered numerous loss of time and I was upset, causing me to have emotional distress, I feel as though I should be refunded for the stress they caused me.

Review: I shipped a container to Trinidad with this company. I paid them IN FULL IN ADVANCE. When my container arrived at the port, it was held because Global Shipping had not fulfilled their obligations with [redacted], the container company. According to the freight company in Trinidad, there appeared to be " a serious credit issue" between [redacted] and Global. Because of Global Shipping's failure to pay the container company, my container was held for longer than allowed, and I incurred storage charges. For nearly a week, I called Global Shipping from my cell phone. I incurred international call charges and additional storage charges. If this frustration was not enough, when I called Global, the receptionist was continuously rude, unprofessional and actually yelled at me and hung up on me, several times. I had to resort to emails. I found out after that the "receptionist" was the owner's wife. After numerous phone calls and emails, my container was finally released. When I came back to the U.S. I emailed Global requesting a reimbursement of the storage charges, as obviously this was not due to my error but theirs. I have yet to receive any acknowledgement of my request or any contact from Global.Desired Settlement: I would like Global Shipping to reimburse me for the storage charges. I would also like a written letter of apology from the owner for the horrible customer service.
