Job not completed. Screens missing, shutter removed and not replaced, and door adjustments.
October 2019 we contracted to have windows and doors replaced. Windows and doors ordered and sent to my address. Doors wrong size and had to reorder (wait another 2 months). Finally the windows and doors were installed but not finished. We are missing 4 screens which were damaged during shipment, Front door not fitting correctly and has light and heat leaks. In addition the installers although working very hard when here left several things that I had to remove and they did not replace one of the shutters they had to take down.

Desired Outcome

I want the job completed, I want the $200.00 gift card promised and I also want the company to apologize for all this delay in completing process. I had a feeling that when they told me that as long as the windows were installed, they could have the last of their money. That should have NEVER happened. I also want them to apologize for the times I waited around for them to show up and didn't without a phone call to let us know why and when to reschedule.

However, you did have an inspection and the City of Ocoee did Pass the window & door installation that we installed. All windows and doors were installed according to Florida Product Approval Codes. Approved by the State of Florida. Please see attached the approved documents and passed inspections.

Still missing 4 of the screens that were damaged during shipping to us. We only have 1 screen that can be repaired but we were told by installer that they were ordering the screens due to the fact we do not have them.

In the beginning I was so pleased w>th my decision. I could not have asked for a company to be more attentive to my every want and need. We ordered the windows on Octber 10, 2019. I was told 6-8 weeks delivery time. Thanksgiving time they were not in. They arrived sometime in mid December. Even though they suppose to take approximately 4 days to install I figured it would be after christmas to begin work. I was right. Work began and everything was good. My installers were coming from Tampa and the were the best. It took approximately 2 weeks yet we were missing: 4 screens, a shutter still needed to be put back, the front door needed to have a leak fixed, my floors needed to be repaired where the floor meets the door, and the back 2 doors needed to have nails driven in and smoothed so they could be painted. This is where things fell apart. No one was assigned to do the final clean up. I was having difficulty getting anyone to answer the phone and no one coming to do the repairs. Although I was promised the salesman would be with me every step of the way---I saw him once to deliver the windows. I can't have the final inspection done or my refund check from Dukr energy issued. I should have known when I paid them up front so the installers could be paid. I have made 4 payments on the windows and still have work to be done.
I love my windows and could not be happier with them. But for $28,000 I am sick. Be careful. Don't pay until the work is completed.

After many,many attempts of talking to and texting we can not get this company to come by and finish the work they did.
We made a large mistake of paying in full, now they have not come by to finish the job. Chris the general manager is one of the most untrustworthy individuals I have delt with. I highly recommend not hiring this company to do your windows and door shame on them. 10,000.00 dollars and job not finished bull. Can finish job any day of the week but choose to take other customers money instead. God help them.

Installed some wrong model windows in July and have not changed them at all. I have called several times but keep getting the run around.
Back in July, we had windows installed on the entire house. When the windows were being installed, I noticed that four were the wrong model. I brought that up to the installer and he told me he was going to let Dimitri *** know since he is the service manager, which he did. I spoke with Dimitri and he assured me that the windows were going to be replace prior to us making the first payment on the loan. Here we are 5 months later and nothing has been done. I have called them 6 times asking for a status and they keep telling me that they have to check the status of the windows and never call me back. Out of the 6 times I have called, I spoke with Dimitri four times and then after that, I have spoke with a Danielle. They both say the same thing..."Let me check where the windows are and I will call you back."

Desired Outcome

It's already winter and I want those windows replaced as they promised.

New windows incorrectly sealed outside wrong product for home and one leaked right away
New window installation finished 8/27 signed off on completion and first rain showed leakage.no response after contacting merchant and installer.caulk around entire windows is already failing.(gaps) even after another worker supposedly fixed it. We recd email 8/19 with permit #***-lake county as subject with very small print in body(believe to be purposeful) since this was only an application on 5/15.tried to block Green Sky account #*** on 8/28 but too late. Global accessed on 8/27 and we learned today that financing went through.Lake County investigation is with Michael *** Building Services.the permit could not be issued because certificate of liability had expired and we are unable to have a final inspection.

Desired Outcome

These are not proper windows for a manufactured home since they cannot be ..or were not...properly finished off outside with the lap siding.they need to be removed (15) and replaced by someone else and we may have to pursue litigation since there is also fraud involved.

we do NOT accept his response, since their "solution" had certain conditions placed on them which have not been met.
Global refuses to admit that they installed the wrong windows in our home and finished the job in the most sloppy way imaginable. They are telling us that they can solve the problem with J channels which could never fix their mistakes.
We have dealt with so many excuses, stalling , and the main problem, leaking new windows.

We are trying to service this customer however, she is insisting her windows have the wrong screens. Her contract states half screens the screens that were ordered however, we are trying to accommodate her and obtain the new screens she is wanting on our expense.

In addition on 10/7 we sent a service crew to her home to replace 5 of her sashes in order to pass inspection and she refused to let us do that unless she has the screens. We will update once we can help this customer understand the process a little better.

Global must have their complaint responses mixed up since their explanation does not apply to us at all.The last time we heard from them was on 9.23.19 when they stated that their "expert" could not show up due to a death in the family, and that they were working on a solution.
We are still waiting on their solution even right now as the rain is coming down and four (4) windows are leaking.
It is beyond understanding how any company would continue to treat a customer in such a disrespectful way.

Global did impact window install for us 8/2/19, we paid them the down payment of $1500, only to find out 8/27/19 they never filed a permit with City.
Global Window did impact window install for us 8/2/19 and we pd them $1500 down payment and set up monthly payment process. We found out 8/27/19 that they never filed a permit for the work with City of Palm Bay and no permit was every posted on our property, so now we are unable to get an inspection done by City Palm Bay to show that work was done correctly. We have been unable to reach Global for over 10 days. Also while work was being completed 8/2/19, the 3rd party contractors that Global uses for install destroyed our plant beds, left caulking all over vertical blinds, mud all over bedroom floor, screws/nails all over floor throughout the house.

we would like a refund or some equivalent to our satisfaction.

Florida screen damaged by window installer
In March 2019 this company installed windows throughout our whole house. After they were done, a few days later we noticed that our deck screen had a cut in it like from a knife. It looked like when they put in the windows they accidently cut the screen, it is a lower screen and expensive called Florida glass. My husband has called the company about 4 or 5 times but they never respond to his calls. We would like them to reimburse us for the damage. They show a different address than what is listed on this page, it is ***, Davenport, Fl 33897, with the phone number 1-888-***.

We would like to get reimbursed for the damage they did to our screen so we could get it fixed.

The project was completed and passed inspection 3/20/2019 in Volusia county, FL
Once a job is completed we activate the Life time warranty as we advertise.
A window screen damage is a common issue, and the procedure to corrected is as follows.
1) Customer must notify either by calling 888-*** option 0 or email via email ***@***.com , the customer *** center.
Customer must provide a picture of the serial number located on the top sash frame of the window that *** is required and a *** ticket must be issued.
Parts and SERVICE is free of charge.
For Mr and Mrs Session we have never received the serial number in order to issue a *** ticket.
We are making attempts to call them as well since this complain is being posted.
The solution is for the customer to send us the serial number of the window and we will manufacture send to the customer's address, free of charge a new screen.
we only refund for issues that are not covered under the lifetime warranty.
Typical time frame for screen replacement and for the moment we have a *** ticket is 2-3 weeks.

They haven't attempted to call us at all. My husband called the office and was told he needed to talk to the owner because its not the window screen, it is our pool enclosure screen and its the bottom portion which is made of plexi screen which was expensive. My husband left 3 different messages for the owner Dimitri with no return call.

In the deference of GSWD and speaking with facts we a as company had never received such a complain.
We give control to the home owner not to sign the certification of completion if they are not 100% satisfied with our job including cleaning and also taking care of their property.
Any potential issue we address it at the moment of the final spot check while we are doing the walk through with the home owner inside and outside their property.
We do a thoroughly walk around, and of course any issues we address them and we *** them.
I am attaching the certification of completion signed by both home owners without any complains.

Nothing was reported at that time.

Having a customer calling 5 months later for a screened area claiming my installers damaged them is not right.
I was under the impression that Mr and Mrs Sessions didn't got *** for damaged window screens.

This complain is an unsupported statement without any proofs.

We instruct very clear our customers NOT to sign the Certification of Completion until they are 100% satisfied. A damaged porch screen is a very obvious issue. Never reported at that time or even coupe of days later. I am sorry.

Company will not respond to calls and refused to give me a receipt or certificate of completion after cashing the cashiers check,windows defective
job was not right from the beginning , wrong windows were installed , they took out a loan in my name and took the money without my permission with green sky , this was before the windows were installed or I signed anything , green sky cancelled the loan because I never approved it . I had multiple issues with the windows. finally I agreed to pay them by cashiers check ,they agreed to discount the original price due to the fact they were the wrong windows and multiple scratches ect on windows . I sent them the cashiers check and they promised to send me the receipt and certificate of completion for the warranty for the windows . I contacted and spoke with them multiple times and they kept saying they would send it . now they wont answer my calls or return my calls. I have several windows that will not lock and I have a toddler in my home and Im concerned for safety reasons . I put alarms on the windows but they still wont lock.I would like my receipt and certificate of completion so I can have the warranty on the windows as promised without that they will not warranty the windows. I also would like the windows fixed or replaced if they cannot be fixed.

This case is being resolved. Mrs I requested a loan via phone on a recorded line.
She then dispute the loan saying that she never requested. (recording is attached.)
We accepted to settle by her paying cash only to get paid $600 less then original amount.
Mrs I justification is that she didn't like the solution for her home to have Hurricane protection boards and that she wanted impact windows.
She didn't signed a contract for impact windows. Impact windows are more expensive.
Then she was trying to negotiate for her front windows to be impact. We agreed that we can help her since she is not happy and provide the solution at cost.
She never moved forward.
I am confused why she is now complaining.
She got her project completed. Inspection is passed and she got a discount of $600
She was all paperwork.

I spoke with Chris and he still refuses to send me a receipt paid in full. As far as the loan I did request to apply for a loan but they took the money without my authorization and before the work was ever completed. They told green sky I signed the completion form to take the money which was not true and they had to give the money back. The salesman told me and my husband when he came to the house that we did not have to have hurricane storm windows in our area and we ordered windows trusting him . when they first arrived they did not have a permit and I asked about the permit they said they had it at the shop but I called the city and they said there was no permit . they did apply for a permit after they started the job . The windows were not correct they were supposed to have grids in the windows they had most of them installed so I agreed to accept them at a discount . Then when the city came out after install they failed the inspection , due to the fact they have to be hurricane windows in our area , which they had assured me we did not have to.to pass inspection they came and drilled studs into all my exterior window frames to put boards on , the result was now all my windows have studs sticking out of the frames about every 3 inches . I had to have all of the windows wood frames sealed and repainted . I was not happy with the front at all ,as it is the first thing you see when looking at my house . The screen door for the patio was damaged when they installed it and had to be replaced two times . Finally we agreed to a discounted price and They assured me if I sent the money they would give me a receipt and the certificate of completion ,which I need for the windows lifetime warranty . The front window will not lock and is not safe for my family . Chris did call me and threatened me to take the complaint off the Revdex.com or he was going to put a lean on my house and take me to court . He still refuses to give me the receipt even though they have cashed the check and I have sent them the documents they need stating that it would be paid in full with the check I sent . I feel he is trying to bully me into dropping the case and the windows are useless without the warranty . They received the check in January and have been giving me the run around since , saying they will send the receipt , the only reason I received the screen door on their last visit is because they hired a new girl and she sent the tech out to replace the broken door because she found it in inventory . I did not know the front window did not lock at the time as I found it when cleaning the window . Im ready to be done with this I just need the receipt and certificate of completion and the front window fixed , then I can go thru the window manufacturer for any further issues.

I have waited and Global source window and door has not sent a receipt or addressed the window issue . They have done nothing they said they were going to do. It should not take this long to send anything in the mail as I'm just in a county over which more or less tells me they are just saying the receipt will be sent again ,which they have told me since it was paid in January!

The customer service while getting my appointment set up was remarkably professional. the sales representatives was very respectful in my home and took exceptionable care of me. I am so glad these widows have a life time warranty, it was definitely worth the price, and the quality is outstanding!
