I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
To date, I have tried to contact their office, (706) 571-and (706) 571-and no one answers their phoneI filed my complaint on June and just received a reply June 2015, days later to share incorrect data is very tiresome and so unprofessional. See attached tax request form because I have NOT received our tax forms from Federal or State that was filed by Global Tax Services in April This is June and I still do not have copies of the form they used to file my taxesAs a paying customer this is one of the first thing they ensure you receiveWhy do we not have our paperwork to see what and how things were filed
In addition these forms are needed (copy of 1040) so that we can file for Uninjured SpouseWe did not know IRS took funds out for Child Support until Gloria stated our funds would be adjusted after numerous of times of trying to reach her I then put in a request to the IRS to see what was the refund because on numerous (times) I tried to contact Gloria at Global Tax for us to receive a copy of our Tax Forms that were filed that every paying customer receives after filingThis is when I found out the total amount of refund on 5-11-was $2,343.54. We received a letter from Child support explaining adjustment ($2,minus our actual refund received $equals $1,that went to Child Support).. This is when I learned about Uninjured Spouse Claim and will file it once we get our copies of the Tax form filed through Global Tax
Also we did receive a payment from State Taxes 5 May 2015, after callng them the KY State Revenue to find out what exactly was the amount. Global Taxes, Gloria, shared we would get back $1,but we did not receive this amount Global Taxes shared we would receiveI couldn't find refund in my checking account because the amount was not accurate and we never had the opportunity to date to review Tax forms from Global Taxes that were filed to KY State. I called KY State Revenue to find out Global Tax charged us $to file for State Taxes and $(approximately) to file for Federal Taxes. When we asked Gloria how much are our fees for services Global Taxes expressed total fee would be $300.00. We need to see in writing where they were authorized to receive $to file our taxes. We were overcharged for services that are still not completed due to not showing and providing our copy of Tax forms so we can verify what exactly was filed and also for our records.
WHY IS THIS SO DIFFICULT TO DO? As we have requested copies of our tax forms filed by Global Taxes on June and to date, they have not mailed our copies to us is SUSPECT. If we do not receive our documents before end of this month, our attorneys will be contacting them. We have been very patient, and we will NEVER use substandard and unprofessional services of this nature EVER again and will NEVER recommend to anyone to use their services. This has been extremely painful having to fight for what we paid for services but not receiving them to standard.
We desire copies of our documents from VA Paperwork I e-mailed to their office and will NOT use any additional services from this awful organization.
Note: A total shame an Active Duty Soldier deployed four times, years Retired US Army Soldier and DA Civilian would have to endure these bad services and for them not to even try to make amends proves untrustworthy characters of employers and employees working for Global Tax Services

I have had several years worth of Income Taxes filed with this company. Over the last year, I have had 3 of them from Alabama to come back as not filed, even though I have the forms stating that they were.

In response to the client who voiced their concerns , Global
Tax Service makes every attempt to respond to the client in a timely manner,
the phone number ###-###-#### listed by the client is not an affiliated number
with this business, therefore I can
understand the clients frustration in regards to trying to contact the office.
The client has spoken with members of the staff on several occasions and the
concerns listed regarding the child support or being an injured spouse were
never brought to light, (an injured spouse form could have been submitted with
the original tax return if the information had been given). This particular tax return upon review did not
process as seamlessly as we would’ve liked. The information is notated as being
received client was given a quote and agreed, the process continued the original
return rejected for incorrect information received from the client the
information was corrected and resubmitted, tax returned processed.
The client also
address the KY state tax return, as the preparer the return was prepared and submitted to Kentucky, accepted by Kentucky,
as the preparer we have no control over when the funds will be released by the state of Kentucky.
Lastly, the client referenced information submitted to our
office in 2013, for a service that is rendered outside of the normal tax
season, (January-May), there has been several communications regarding the
information but our records do not reflect a deposit being received for these
services as it is a time consuming process to review for overpayment, however the information is
being reviewed for the client at any
time if she would like the information to be returned we can forward the personal documents and paperwork
that the client sent to us.
The client’s desired settlement:
I can provide the contact information for the state of
Kentucky to the client to follow up on the status of the state return. The
copies can be faxed, mailed or picked up from the local IRS facility. In
regards to the 2013 paperwork the client needs to advise if she would like it
return or allow the time to complete review and provide the most accurate
answer possible.
