So far I had the displeasure of being on the phone with global tellink twice today On my first phone call I requested a refund for an account I no longer use I was informed that there would be a five dollar processing fee however when you apply money in the beginning there is a five dollar processing fee so I complained that that's unfair Their minute rate for phone calls with inmates are ridiculously overpriced Using their website is also the unfortunately using their website is also A waste of time My attempt to add money to a open account was added incorrectly online with a far less amount than I desired and when I called the company two minutes after the transaction to inform them of their mistake I was told that I would have to add another amount and then be processed again with another fee and there was nothing else they can do even though the transaction just happened From previous contact with this company, you can only add in increments of 25$Well today a Christmas miracle occurred and suddenly my amount of dollars was reduced to dollarsReally Global Telink?? Are you doing this for processing fees?? When I asked the supervisor ( yes I spoke to a representative who knew nothing and was doing grammar school math) for a complaint department they said there is no phone number only a PO Box in Mobile AlabamaVery useless and very frustratingTerrible company to be forced to use to call a loved one

This company has a complete monopoly on the prison phone systems and neither the inmates nor the family of inmates have any recourse against this company To my knowledge, they have NO COMPETITION and a complete stranglehold on the phone services at the prison In my opinion and to my knowledge, their business practices are shady at best In my humble opinion, instead of being in charge of the prison phone system, they need to be IN the prison system They have reached their long arm out and put a BLOCK on me receiving collect phone calls from my loved one in prison, when I am trying hard to help him keep a positive outlook and be able to reenter society and do GOOD in the future Family connections are extremely important to someone in prison who wants to turn their life around and these people at Global Tel Link are seriously interfering with our family connection

EVERYTHING IS TERRIBLE!........THEY ARE IGNORANT & UNEDUCATED....THEY CARE NOTHING ABOUT ANY HUMAN BEING THEY JUST CARE ABOUT THE MONEY....I CALLED THEM TO HELP ME CLEAR SOME CONFUSION & IT TOOK CUSTOMER REPS & ONE SAID SUPERVISOR NAMED AMY TO CLEAR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING......IN THE END I ASKED FOR A REFUND & IT WILL TAKE THEM DAYS TO COMPLETE!.......NOW I HAVE TO SET UP ANOTHER ACCOUNT SO THAT MY LOVED ONE CAN CONTACT ME UNTILL THEY FIX NOTHING

Really Global Telink?? Are you doing this for processing fees?? When I asked the supervisor ( yes I spoke to a representative who knew nothing and was doing grammar school math) for a complaint department they said there is no phone number only a PO Box in Mobile Alabama. Very useless and very frustrating. Terrible company to be forced to use to call a loved one.

GTL will not give my card holder their Merchant ID number so they can take the hold off of the $90 and credit it back to my account. I tried to put $30 on an inmates phone account I was declined, so I waited later in the day and tried 2 more times and again I was declined for both. This had me worried cause my paycheck was just deposited that morning so I called for a balance to find out there was $90 pending so I spoke with a supervisor who told me that the $90 dollars consist of 3 $30 charges from GTL. I told her they had declined my card all three times. So with her still on the phone I called GTL I asked to speak to the manager and they connected me with an esclater. She was rude at first but then backed off. The lady for my card ask the GTL operator for codes on the 3 declined amounts she gave them to her but when she ask for GTL's Merchant ID number the operater went crazy first she said they didnt have one I asked to speak to a manager she said she was an assistant and that was as high as it goes. The card lady explained without that number they could not take the hold off nor can she credit it back to my account. The GTL operator said thats not my problem then she hung up. They other lady apoligizes and said without that number she could not credit it back. I've tried now for the last 2 days to talk to GTL they put me on hold and I held for 45 minsv every single time. Is there another way to get this number? Please help... Completely BROKE
