I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The tow truck was most definitely parked at the entrance to the complexI saw it idling in a parking space with his parking lights onI was in the condo for only a few minutes, so the truck responding to a complaint wouldn't be feasible, timing-wiseMy in-laws live in the complex and are active in the HOA, and they have told me that the HOA is not as strict as stated by the companyAs stated in my initial complaint, the main concern of the HOA is outsiders parking in the complex and tresspassing in the adjacent park during the overnight hours.

Sunday, November 30th, I was located at *** *** *** where my invalid mother lives (who is also in a wheelchair) to check on her medicineI had been in her apartment only five minutes when I went back outside to retrieve something from my car at saw it had been towedI was NOT parked in a handicap parking space! WHY was I towed?? I immediately called several times with no return call each time! Each time I was told to leave a message and I did! Their phone message is incredibly unprofessionalThere is laughter in the background as a woman tries to remember the rest of her message! Unbelievable!! I drive a Canary Yellow SUV and want my car back at NO CHARGE! If I am charged a towing fee, I will begin legal proceedings!

Revdex.com spoke spoke to the office manager who stated that the HOA the customer is referring to is very strict, and has very clear parking guidelines, and the customer was without a parking pass. She said that it's very unlikely that the towing...

truck was waiting at the entrance, but that they do constantly get calls from the HOA association, and they are required to tow the vehicle when a complaint is made or is in violation of the parking rules. She also stated the customer was given a discounted drop, and that the tow truck was willing to wait for the customer to go get cash, rather than continue to tow the vehicle, behind the required time frame he is supposed to do that.

Review: The company towed my vehicle w/ no cause. When I called to find out why the lady said my tags were dead which was not correct at the time of towing. then she said it 125.oo and we're closed and hung up the phone.Desired Settlement: They need to issue a refund as well as an apology for horrible customer service. At no point should that lady hung up the phone on me even if they were closed. If the office was closed she shouldn't have answered the phone.

Response:

The customer complaint is speaking about a vehicle that was towed for having a flat tire. A warning notice was given to fix the vehicle on 8/23 for that violation. The notice was for 5 days, if there was still the issue the vehicle would be towed. Since the tire was flat the vehicle was towed on 8/28 when we rechecked the property. She picked up her vehicle on 8/29 for the initial towing fee of 125.00 which it was towed during the day and before 24 hour period. So the charges for the tow are following the state law ordinances and there was not an improper towing. If the customer was not rude and she was cut off in the middle of a conversation we sincerely apologize and will speak to all dispatchers in regards to this matter. Typically the dispatchers are usually very good in regards customer services, though it can be extremely difficult in our industry.

Thank you for your time in regards to this matter. Please feel free to contact our office if there is any further information you may need. For reference purposes the Invoice # for this was [redacted] which the customer should have a copy of as well. The vehicle in question was a [redacted] with Virginia tag # [redacted].

Review: This company was loading my car up on its truck and made me pay them $40 to get it back. I was parked in the guest parking area of my in-laws' condo complex, and was parked for no longer than 10 minutes, as I was just dropping my child off for a visit with his grandparents. The employee told me that once my car was on his equipment, I had to pay (cash only), and there "is nothing I can do about it." I had seen this tow truck at the entrance of the parking lot, but didn't think much of it. I assumed it was someone who lived there. But now I realize that he was watching for cars to come in. My in-laws tell me that the HOA in the complex has a contract with this company, but they are not supposed to wait for cars to come in like that - the expectation is that they will drive through during the overnight hours to make sure people aren't parked illegally. This incident happened at approximately 8:00pm, so hardly during overnight hours. I called the company today, but nobody answered. They had an outgoing voice mail solely about picking up cars from their impound lot. I left a detailed message but have no expectation of a return call.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund from the company, and for the contract with [redacted] to be discontinued.
