Review: I called and contacted Mr. Reji P[redacted] the owner of Global Travel Experts in January 2014 requesting information and quote for two roundtrip travel tickets for my wife and daughter to fly from the US (PHL, NY Washington DC) to [redacted], India via Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Doha. He came back with a proposal to fly from PHL via Doha to [redacted] by [redacted] Air. I asked about Hotel accommodation at the Doha Airport since the lay over is 14 hours on the way to TVM and 18 hours on the way back to PHL. He assured the accommodation will be provided by the airline. I paid the amount by bank transfer to his account and purchased the ticket. Mr. P[redacted] did not inform of any issues with accommodation. When I saw Mr. P[redacted] at a meeting on June 28th I asked him again and he said the airline is considering not giving the accommodations and that he is in contact with the airline and all will be fine. I contacted him last week of July and he told, sorry I have to pay an additional $ 250 for accommodation. With no other options given and worrying about my wife and child stranded at the airport, I authorized 250 on my credit card. I contacted by text and email everyday and asked this will cover for both ways and he assured-Yes. Then one day before the trip he send me an email with a request given to the airline for hotel with no confirmation and told all will be fine just see the airline when in Doha. I asked about do we have confirmation for the return and he said, I need to pay another $ 250. I called the airline and they told me the travel agents were notified of this all along and the tickets they purchased do not have hotel included. I then directly contacted the airline and booked the hotel for the return trip. This cost me an additional $ 500. He is practicing deceptive business, false advertisement and lying to the customers. Several other customers has warned of this since then about his deceptive business practice. He does this to mostly people in the church. Please help him stop this deceptive practice.Desired Settlement: I want to be refunded $ 500 for the amount I had to pay just to secure accommodation for my wife and daughter in the last minute, 6 months after purchasing the ticket with the promise and assurance of accommodation was included in the ticket plus $ 500 for the stress and trouble we had to go through to secure accommodation and for the stress and trouble my wife and child had to face in Doha airport since his reservation was not confirmed.
