We were courted by Global Vacations with a promise of an in and out presentation lasting no longer than minutes, and we would get a vacation for attending.I made it clear when scheduling the appointment that I needed to be out on time because I had to workThey assured me I would be out in minutes We attended and the presentation lasted over hoursDuring that presentation, the sales man indicated access to timeshare condos all over the world in great locations, and many to choose from When we got the book, I saw right away that the condos were not in great vacation locations and were very limited and were really not 'all over the world'The vacation offered through a contracted company never happened, and they said it was because I passed the day limit of sending it(always a hoop)In emails they currently send about great vacation packages, I have not seen one yet that is really a great deal that I cannot find myself on internet searchesI have been stuck making payments for a price of $6,with 18.9% interest on something I will probably never even useI called several times to complain and talk with someoneI have never been able to reach Andrew Leven though his voicemail always says he is in the office days a week, I left several voicemailsThe last time I called Global to complainand explain I will never use this service and that they mis-represented themselves, the lady was extremely rude, said I should have gotten up and left if it went over and it was my problem that I stayed, that I did not get the vacationShe said if I didn't like it I should pay all these thousands of dollars and try to sell it to someone at a lower priceShe then rudely hung up the phone on meI have learned a very valuable and costly lesson: don't ever respond to these crazy phone pitches because it is always a scam to rob you

I was invited to attend a presentation for a new travel agent in town in exchange for some free travel vouchersI sat through their slimy sales pitch which wasn't even about a travel agent anyway, but travel softwareThey wouldn't let me look at the software so that I could compare prices with other similar programsI declined to buy and the sales manager got very mad that I wanted to leave with my giftsNevertheless, I was able to finally gYou have to go through so many steps trying to redeem these "gifts" and they are so confusing, even for a young professional! My "free" hotel trip was going to end up costing me more than if I booked through ExpediaI never could get them to deliver on the free airfareI called to talked to them about the hotel, but they refused to acknowledge the pricing was bad, and continued trying to convince me it was a dealI have certainly learned my lesson the hard way when it comes to these sales pitchesThis is my third time around the blockI'm done with this stuff altogether

I have been contacted numerous times from this company it sounds like a scam everytime I asked them to put me on the do not call back list and they immediately hang up on meThe call will come in with a phone number that when u call it back it does not work or it comes in as unknown callerToday I was able to act like I was interested and got there address U.SAlt palm harbor and she gave me a phone number 1-888-447-after I got the info I needed I told her to put me on the do not call back list and she said okThe calls come in as if they actually work for whatever airline they are chosing today was southwest other times it was American airline but she screwed up later in conversation and said something about hotelsI believe it is coming in from a reservation center maybe in Manila everyone has a Philippine accentPlease be very Leary of this company

I have completed paying for my agreement of $over the past months Now I am trying to contact this company by phone, since there is no way to transact business over the internet I have yet to be able to get through to them as everyday this past week, it's Friday now, I have gotten a message saying there is a large call volume...please call back later No "leave a messge" no "leave your number and we will call you back." I will come back to this sight after I DO get through to this company and learn about their customer service

Absolutely terrible. We purchased just before our honeymoon. Our agent was the worst. She told us there was no need to make reservations in advance for things like guided tours, so we gave up and called ourselves. Thank God since most things had a 6 month waiting list! She almost ruined our honeymoon and when we complained about it she was very rude. We requested multiple times to change our agent, but we were always given the run around saying that our agent was sorry or would try harder. Finally we were told that our agent was changed, but when we called to try and book a trip she was still our agent of record. We have now tried to book 3 trips with them. We are always told that we have to go through our agent, and she NEVER gets back to us. Paid thousands for this package, used once with minimal success and haven't been able to use since 2009. Absolute scam!!!!!!

Have purchased this about 9 years ago, have never got anything out of it. Every time we ever want to go anywhere and use it, never anywhere available that we wanted to go. Very disappointed in all the money we have lost. It all sounded good when they sold it to us.

During that presentation, the sales man indicated access to timeshare condos all over the world in great locations, and many to choose from. My wife and I bought a membership to Global several years ago. Recently a representative from their company came to our home and tried to sell us an upgrade on our membership for two thousand dollars, and if we didn't pay the upgrade our membership is pretty much useless. When we bought our membership nobody told us we would have to pay thousands of dollars every so many years to keep using it. Anyone thinking of joining Global please do some research. You will be deeply disappointed if you join

Just got a letter last week (February 2016). I decided to call for laughs (and from a centralized office building phone and NOT my personal phone). The lady speaking is a recording, and completely scripted as if she's actually speaking to you, with "uhs" and "uhms". Intelligence insult #1. They played up the "free tablet" heavily in the first several minutes of the spiel, throwing in the "free weekend getaway", then finally, the 90-minute presentation to attend, from which you will receive said free tablet. This sales model has been used for decades! Now, they have better technology at their disposal to smooth out the automated side, and apparently save their employees tons of wasted dialogue speaking us live humans on the other end.
