Dear Sirs: The original complaint was workmanship and failure to comply with the manufacturer's installation guidelines for Solar Panels and Industry Standards. The original filing with the Registrar of Contractors only dealt with workmanship issues. The smaller issue of workmanship concerning broken windows from the solar window screens was handled satisfactorily and corrections were completed. The on going complaint is dealing with the installation of the Solar Panels and the failure of GWGS to comply with the manufacturer's recommendations and Industry Standards. CentroSolar, the manufacturer, specifically states "The installer assumes all risks of injury or DAMAGES that may occur during installation." Our concern under "Disclaimer of Liability" is when Michael K*** Energy Consultant and Kirby encouraged us to wash the solar panels after they were damaged. If there was a short in any one of the broken panels who would be culpable should someone be electrocuted? This is every reason to have the system hooked to our modem up so we could monitor the system on our computer before any maintenance.Under "Mounting Considerations" the manufacturer of the solar panels states the panels should withstand 1" diameter hailstones traveling at mph. Our home is located adjacent to a golf course tee box and we specifically asked whether the solar panels would withstand the impact of a golf ball which is 1.5" in diameter and has a launch speed of 70-mph. Our roof is continually pelted and there is no Industry Standard to screen the panels for protection. Screening would lessen solar production.Under "Mounting Considerations" panel orientation should be within degrees East or West of True South. Our panels are installed approximately degrees West and facing the Tee Boxes which expose them to the possibility of direct impacts from golf balls. Now we would like to review the dollars we believe are more reasonable in settling the solar system removal.GWGS proposed the following: (refer to letter 5/27/from GWGS): Contract 22,393.00 Removal of system & repairs $2677.50, AeroSeal Duct Sealing, sunscreens and sub panel (never installed) $3244. Total cost to us: $for removal*** * *ikki *** Calculations: $22,Contract, AeroSeal Duct Seal $1399.90, Sun Screens $655.09, Sub panel $0.00, total $= $20,refundIn closing, we prefer to do all roof & penetration repairs with our preferred contractors and would assume all responsibility for such. Thank you, *** * *** ***

This client did receive all of the products that he purchased. The products that are stated in the complaint would additional solar panels for free. This all occurred due to a competing solar company having their sales rep, *** *** tell this client that there were
not enough panels to eliminate their bill. We were trying to satisfy this client with additional products. GWGS fulfilled its contract and installed what was on the contract. This client needs to prove otherwise

Regarding: *** *** - Complaint #*** Date: April 24, Regarding the above referenced complaint, I have the following: Ms*** has filed the following two complaints: Her first complaint is regarding her tax credits for purchasing solar and second is “changing out her
AC Unit without permits from the city.”We have had several phone discussions with Ms*** regarding her concerns over her tax credits Nine conversations to place from February 13th through March 3rd Since March 3rd we have not been able to get a return call from Ms*** We have left seven messages for her We thought that her questions were being answered We want to respond to her concerns and help But she has to contact us Regarding the AC Permit; it was applied for I have attached a copy of the application The City of San Luis stepped in during the Solar Inspection and required additional permitting for her new AC Unit which is normally not required This has held up all of the final inspections for this project and the power up of her Solar Electric System The City of San Luis has advised us on April 17th that the AC Permit is ready for pick up This means we can get everything done However, Ms*** has filed a “Notarized” letter with the City of San Luis prohibiting anyone from entering her property Therefore, the City of San Luis will not let us have the approved permit There can be no further movement on this project until this is lifted. As a licensed contractor and an A+ rated business we are serious about taking care of our clients That also means we cannot just sit on this project this way It must be finished If Ms. *** is having buyer’s remorse or other concerns, then she needs to reach out to us We will respond and, if necessary, provide compensation for anything that was done wrong The notarized letter she filed leads me to believe that she is seeking legal advice If that is the case, and she does not intend re contact us in anyway, this will then become a legal issue When you are following up with this client please encourage Ms*** to contact us so that we can take care of her and finish her project We need to hear back from Ms*** no later than May 1st.As always, we value our relationship with the Revdex.com and are committed to keeping our “A+ Rating.” My best number is ###-###-#### Thank you for time and supportRespectfully,*** *** Global Wide Green

Thank you for the information regarding this client. This client did indeed call in on November 8th to voice his concerns. His information was immediately turned over to sales company who sold him the system. Please keep in mind, that we only installed the system. By all indications, the system installed is preforming as designed. It is not a system that will cover 100% of his bill as he states. We will be reaching out again to this client and make sure the sales company follows up with him

GWGS was only the GC that oversaw the work.  GWGS did not sale the product.

I was sold, by Global Wide Green (aka GWGS), a $26950.00 solar/energy plan to eliminate our electric bill. Months after the install, and still having large electric bills, we contacted the people who installed the system, GWGS’s contracted installers, to see if the system was working properly, again, the people who installed this were contracted by GWGS, these are the people we contacted, not a “competing solar company”.  We were, in fact, informed by them “that there were not enough panels to eliminate” our bill. This is not what we were sold by the salesmen from GWGS. The owners of GWGS had us send them our electric bills for the year, and after a little back and forth consented to the fact that indeed, we were sold a lie. GWGS agreed to make it right by adding the 10 additional panels that the GWGS installers said were needed to accomplish what was sold to us by the GWGS salesmen. These panels are not “free” they were part of the $26950.00 package we were sold. GWGS started the process of installing more solar panels, thru APS. This includes a signed contract from GWGS. The engineering drawings and approvals for the equipment was completed and submitted to APS by GWGS and then everything stopped. After several emails back and forth, we were told that the wrong panels were ordered and we had to wait for the right ones to come in. A couple of months later, we were told that “GWGS and its partners are undergoing a restructuring of the company.  Janae Appel is no longer with the company and all past initiatives are in a holding pattern until further notice.” Whether or not GWGS is restructuring, and whether or not Janae is on staff, does not make a difference in the commitment that GWGS made to us. GWGS has NOT fulfilled their contract. For “proof” I will attach a copy of the signed contract, and the emails.

Dispute Resolution Consultant:Thank you for the information provided to you by Mr. [redacted].  To get straight to the pint, Mr. [redacted] facts and accusations are simply wrong.  We have tried to work with Mr. [redacted] and made offers of relocating his system and replacing the damaged panels...

at our expense.  Nothing we have offered was acceptable to this client.  The complaints Mr. [redacted] has filed with the ROC and the AG's office have been investigated and closed.  We are still willing to replace the damaged panels at our expense if he will allow it.  He needs to get the full benefit from his solar electric system.  We however are not accepting the terms of completely removing his system and providing a full refund for job sold 20 months ago.Mr. [redacted] was sent a letter by attorney which I have attached for your records.  Please let me know if you require anything further.Thank you for your time in handling this issue.Compliant:Customer’s Statement of the Problem:February 26, 2014 we signed a contract for $22,393. to include solar panels, duct sealing and solar window screens. We live adjacent to a golf course, close to tee boxes, and asked specifically if the solar panels could resist golf ball strikes. We were assured by the sales person that they were indeed golf ball resistant. We did not take the contract amount lightly and this assurance was the reason we moved forward with the contract. Several months later we went up on the roof and discovered 2 shattered solar panels. During the three weeks of trying to contact GWGS we received another shattered solar panel. Our panels face directly towards the tee boxes, in fact, the installer relocated a series of panels that would not fit the originally engineered space to a lower roof section that was even more susceptible to golf ball strikes. Several attempts by GWGS were offered to try and satisfy our displeasure and disappointment with being lied to. Offers included two additional panels and replacement of 3 shattered panels. We sought a total removal of the solar panel system as replacing panels in the same locations would present an ongoing problem. The refund offer would have been accepted by us if the dollar amount had been correct. However, the amount proposed started less than what we paid and included costs for an electrical sub panel which was never installed and system removal. We were not at fault for the failures of GWGS to properly install to industry standards or warranty their products so we rejected that offer. We subsequently filed complaints with the State of Arizona Attorney General and the Registrar of Contractors. The registrar's examiner had GWGS fix an additional problem we had with improper installation of solar window screens which resulted in 2 cracked windows. This minor issue was corrected. They however did not properly address the major issue of the Solar Panels. We still have 3 shattered panels & an inadequate system. We are filing with ROC.-- Kirby H[redacted]O: [redacted]F:  [redacted][email protected]

Thank you for forwarding the information on this client.  The last documented conversation this client had with our office was on September 14, 2015 at 10:23 AM.  The issue was trouble shooting a red activity light on his Solar Inverter. We dispatched a technician to his home and...

corrected the issue.  We have no records of any other calls into our office.  To set the record and facts straight, the sales consultant that he references (Cary D[redacted]) does not and has never worked for Global Wide Green or GWGS, LLC.  GWGS, LLC only installed the system. We will be reaching our to this client and following up with the organization that sold this project. As always, that you for notifying us about this situation and let me know me know if you require anything further.?

It was Global Wide green's sales women who came out and gave false information to convince us to take out a lone to hire global wide green as the contractor. She is the one who told us how much money in tax breaks we...

would recieve to help pay for the product. Cary D[redacted] is the name of the sales women or as on her card says Energy Consultant. She told us we would not have an electric bill after everything was installed and that our electric company would buy all our excess electric. This is Global wide Green's reponsibility for how they train their consultants. They have refused to call us back or contact us through mail even though we have tried both ways to talk to them
