Worst experience with Globe will never use them again
I have parked at the Globe parking lot Pittsburgh PA for 30+ years and received great service, with nice drivers. I recently stayed for 15 days. When they picked me up at 8PM on a Friday night, I had to call 2ce to ask when they would be coming. There were no other people at the pickup door, no rain or snow. Another airport parking company said he saw the Globe driver 'parked' about 20 yards away, just waiting. The shuttle came 20 minutes after I initially called. I asked the driver why he was so late, he said that this was his first day. When we got to the Globe Parking area, a staff member there said to him: where were you? I went inside to pay and asked the 6 staff there: why so late. they said that they often "stage' their shuttles. Don't even understand that. The second issue: the driver broke my new luggage; the wheel came off. It was perfectly fine when I wheeled it from the airport luggage pick-up area to the Globe shuttle. It broke in the shuttle. When I asked the staff they repeatedly said: "It happens all the time". This has never happened to me. The driver told me to return the luggage to the store, or to file a claim with the airport (this would have been a fraudulent claim). They did not offer any real solution and never acknowledged their error.
I will not be returning to Globe, ever.

Review: We took our car to this company's drop-off lot on October 14; they took us to the airport in their van and their employee parked the van on their long-term lot. We picked up the van at 22:34:52 on 10-27. A Globe employee brought the van from the long term lot to the pick up area. When we arrived from their pick-up van, the liftgate was already open. We loaded our luggage and drove WITHOUT INCIDENT to our traveling companion's home in Mt. Pleasant, PA where we spent the night. The next morning we ( 4 of us) went to unload the luggage and saw the damage to the liftgate. I contacted Globe and said I would drive back to the Pittsburgh airport, rather than to Columbus,Ohio where we live, if they wanted me to, which they did not. They said a VP would review their tapes of the van when it arrived and left. That VP told me the tapes showed no damage, which is not the case. I have to use my car insurance to get the van repaired ( $2,200, one thousand of which I must absorb as my deductible). In an e-mail, Golbe admitted that things like this have happened in the past.Desired Settlement: I assume my insurance, State Farm, will seek to recover the amount they pay. I seek $1,000 from Globe to offset my insurance deductible.
