Review: Ordered a car by phone on 2/15. Make/Model/Price agreed upon over email. Gave $2000 deposit. Car was to be delivered April 15. Car arrived end of April with additional options that were not ordered. Dealer will not refund deposit. Said it was a special order and I have to wait until the vehicle is sold. I did not sign anything and I did not order the car with a sunroof. Dealership I refusing to give me my deposit back. Tried to contact General Manager (Mr. [redacted])via phone and email numerous time. He refuses to return my calls or response to my emails. I have the email confirmation from the sales man ([redacted]) where he confirms my order.Desired Settlement: Need $2000.00 returned. File formal complaint about bait and switch sales practices.
Business
Response:
Customer, [redacted] ordered a 2014 CLA Mercedes Benz. With a sunroof. Daughter did not want a sunroof. Mother [redacted] advised salesperson she wanted it. Deposit of $2000.00 was taken on a car priced with a sunroof and ordered. MC credit card in the name of the daughter, [redacted]. Special ordered vehicles, deposits are not refunded(generally). Order was 02/18/2014
Car was supposed to be delivered on April 15. Customer would not take delivery as her daughter said that her mother did not want a sunroof.Which was in conflict .Globe could not deliver car at the non sunroof price. Credit card was charged back on May 15th 2014 Globe did not dispute this and customer was not charged.

Response:
I am rejecting this response because: Globe has
not responded back to the credit card dispute from Chase. Chase is still
waiting for their response as of June 14, 2014. In addition, the response
from Globe is 100% inaccurate. I was the person that negotiated price, made final decision, and put
the deposit down on the vehicle. My mother made none of the arrangements
(I would like to see what information Globe has to dispute this). This
can be verified via the email stream that was attached on the original
complaint. The unethical sales practices by the salesman ([redacted]
and absolute unwillingness for the General Manager to pick up the phone to have
a discussion with me after my numerous attempts, indicates that there was
something deceitful and unethical happening behind the scenes. I don’t know what kind of game Globe was
playing but I believe they never had any intention of getting the agreed upon
car. I think they tried a bait and
switch technique and in the end wasted my valuable time.
