Review: I was referred to this salon and was told to make an appointmen. [redacted] owner of the bussiness attended me. I asked for the worker to dye my hair a mocha color 6 and use mocha highlights 7 to bring out the color.I noticed the worker on the phone alot and never turned my chair towards the mirror.I notice once she rinsed my hair she put me back on the chair and added more dye to my hair. It seemed she was patching my hair with the dye. When I was done she turned me around and showed me my high lights, they were bleach blond/gold. She stated about my hair color it turned out a lil dark not the mocha color but when you wash it ,it will lighten up. She charged my card and I left the salon. looking at my hair in the sunlight you could really see the light bleach hair. I was so disappointed and upset I left around 4:40 in the afternoon . The next day in the 9:00 am morning I call [redacted] and I expressed to her my concern . She stated for me to return to her salon to fix it. I told her I was asking for my money back. The phone was disconnected and I attempted to contact her cell # back and she did not answer. I left her a long message to please contact me so we can discuss how I could get my money back. I keeped calling her .I went to a different salon on sunday so they could fix the damage.I left her a message letting her know I was not able to go to work looking the way I looked and it will affect my job. I called her on Monday and she stated for me to go at 9:00 am so she can fix it. I stated due to my employment I was not able to and did not trust her with my hair any longer.I told her I was not satisfied with her work and wanted all or part of my money. She refused and stated she did not work like that. No money will be refunded to me.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund.I also would like for her salon to be investiagted for bad service and she does not provided refunds. I would like to know how I can get Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to get involve and check she uses safe cemicals and complies with the regelations.

Re: Response to Complaint #[redacted]
Dear [redacted]:
On Friday September 19, 2014 I received a call from a [redacted] was requesting an
appointment for Saturday the 20th of September at 1 :00 p.m. [redacted] informed me that she was
referred to me by one of my clients. My clients name is [redacted] she has been my clients for
many years. On the 20th of September, [redacted] arrived for her appointment on time, She requested a
color of 7m-mocba, I showed her a book with all the colors, and I showed her the color 7m-Mocha.
[redacted] said that 7m-Mocha was too light, she would rather go one color darker. I recommended
6m-Mocha, [redacted] agreed with the color I bad chosen.
[redacted] had some streaks on the crown of her head and she said that they were to orange. I
proceeded to remove the Orange ftom her hair, and place a light Beige on her hair. When I finished the
color work, I proceeded to style her hair, [redacted] asked me ifl could flat iron her hair because she
was attending a party that night. When I finished her style I took my mirror and showed her the style I
had done on her, [redacted] stood up and took the mirror and look at her hair, she told me that she was
very please with the color and the hair style.
I charged her $120.00 for the hair color and the streaks, giving her a discount for being referred to me
by one of my clients. I charge her $10.00 for flat ironing her hair. Total price that she was charged was
$130.00. [redacted] was in agreement with the price that I had charged. When she paid me, I thanked
her and told her it was a pleasure attending to her and that I hoped she was pleased with the work I had
done. [redacted] touching her hair responded "Yes I really like it", and she gave me $5.00 as a tip.
On Sunday the 21st. Of September, [redacted] called me arowd 3:00 or 4:00 p.m. To tell me that the
color I had used on her was not the color she had asked for. I was shocked upon receiving this phone
call because she left the salon happy. So I asked [redacted] what she wanted me to do, I want to go
right now, so you can attend me. I told her I could not meet with her on this date, because it was my
only day off, and I was not in the salon. I also told her that I was surprised that she waited 24 hours to
calJ me and tell me that she was not satisfied with the color, I told why she didn't tell me when I had
finished her hair color at the salon.
I told [redacted] that I could meet with her on Monday at 9:00 a.m., [redacted] agreed and said she
would meet with me on Monday the 22nd of September. I didn't schedule any more appointments
because I was going to attend [redacted] did not arrive for her schedule appointment nor did
she call me to let me know that she was unable to make the appointment Around 4:00p.m. On the 22nd
of September, [redacted] called me to tell that she could not make her appointment because she had to
work and she was not going to leave her work just to keep the appointment. She was only calling me
so I could refimd her money. She informed me that on Sunday she bad gone to another salon so they
could place another color on her hair, because the one I had used was not correct. I was upset because
she asked me to refund her money and I could keep the $5.00 tip, I told her I didn't work for tips.
I infonned [redacted] that I was upset because not only bad she allowed someone else to use a different
color on her hair, then she offended me by saying I could keep the $5.00 tip, and she didn't give me a
chance to look at her hair or to fix whatever she was dissatisfied with. [redacted] asked me "So you are
not going to refund my money'' I answered her no because I did a good job for you and you were
satisfied when you left the salon. [redacted] proceed to tell me that she could take me to court, and I
told do what you need to do.
I later foWld out per [redacted] tbat [redacted] did not go to work. I honestly feel that this complaint
is unfounded and I should not have to refund any money.
Sincerely,
