Complaint: [redacted] Dear [redacted] I reject business response because they are resorting to present deceitful stories to hide their bad customer service But I would like to bring below facts to your notice, to help you reach fair resolution of the matter 1) In my statements below: QUOTE "This includes price for their services, plus $fee which they charge for credit card transactions, and 10-15% tip amount that I have been paying each time" "Despite all this I have maintained to pay them at least 10-15% gratuity each time” UNQUOTE Where am I stating that the business is charging 10-15% gratuity? as accused by the business in their response - In my statements above, I have said I have maintained to pay 10-15% gratuity as a matter of courtesy despite not being very happy with the services, & not as price component that the business chargesAnd to let you know, I have been visiting them despite being unhappy because it's very conveniently located from my place (literally next to my apartment community) -As you can see in the receipts attached by the business there is no section to indicate gratuity amount, so I have been telling the billing person verbally to add the tip amount, or paying in cash sometimesSo whatever amount is signed by me on the receipts includes 10-15% gratuity in addition to the service charges (that I have been paying as my basic courtesy, not that they asked for) $cannot be total for manicure, pedicure and waxing, they are reasonable but they don’t charge this lessBusiness is just thoughtlessly stating anything to prove their point - Yelp reviews don't always present true picture about the businessMoreover, most of their reviews are for their nails services in which they are betterAlso because of their reasonable pricing and convenient location many people see it as not bad a deal, instead of a very satisfactory dealIf you take a look at latest review about this business, it tells about their rude behavior & that’s what my point is tooIn addition to that it's each people's individual experience and I don't want to comment on that - I am in US since 2015, & found US market as very consumer centricI have always been amazed by excellent customer service here each time, & have been personally expressing my gratitude on many occasionsI never needed to write any negative reviews on yelp, before having this horrific experience at this salonI did write about my bad experience about Gloss Nails on Yelp, expecting that at least the business owner would understand my painBut as you can see, her / his response was nothing more than a sarcastic remark (please see attached), because I also work in customer facing industry at very senior level and I know that you don't say a customer "after writing reviews for me hope you feel better" to address their grievanceThere should be a feeling of being sorry and if you can do something to address the issue, which never came from them - I have myself deleted my yelp reviews because I didn't see the business owner concerned about my experience, and I decided to reach Revdex.comI don't know what else is she meaning from her screenshotsThe other comment is by [redacted] *, he might have had his own experience, how does that relate to me? I am not aware why and what happened to his comment 2) Everything stated about my last visit experience is totally and fabricated to hide their disrespectful behavior towards their regular clientI am years old & all through my life I have never got nose waxing done, so why would I want that at this salon? In fact that was the sarcastic comment that the dealing staff passed, when I requested for correction as she left middle portion of my upper lip waxing undone & it was looking so uglyShe left everything undone & walked away, I politely waited for her to be back to me & then asked to get that fixed, but instead she tells me “Do you want me to do inside your nose”? Don't you agree with me that it's such a disrespectful remark? I am shocked to see how she is lying she didn’t tell me not to visit them ever, because she did say thatWish I had recorded the callI was just narrating my experience with the dealing staffI never said I will not come back ever againShe yelled at me instructing that 3) I had my most dealings with a staff named “***” in the salonIt can be verified from her, there have been occasions when she had offered me revisit to fix any shortcomings but I never bothered her with that, until my last experience when there was other staff and I couldn’t have accepted the condition at which she left me at as I had to attend an important event 4) Because of the fake accusations instead of showing concerns about my painful experience, I reiterate - Gloss Nails has not provided complete services for the full charges paid by me, behaved disrespectfully and further adding to my horrific experience by writing fake accusations in their responseTherefore I want full refund for the amount paid during my last visit, and an apology from the business Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Hi,
I flew from Minneapolis to Milwaukee to have a Mother's Day pedicure with my daughterWe chose your salonWe sat for minutes under the drying machinesI kept my nails free from shoes and socks for another hours after the minutes of drying machinesAfter 1/hours it was necessary to put shoes on to fly back to Minneapolis.
After 1/hours, a good manicure should certainly be well cured and dried!!! But look what I found when I took my shoes of! (see enclose pictures)
I have never paid $for a pedicure done so horribly in my life! And I paid twice that, as I paid for my daughter as wellI am asking for my money back, and I want that accomplished instantaneouslyIf you refund my money I will not blast you on YELP or FacebookYes, that is a threatBut I will let YELP and Facebook know of your horrible service, as well as the Revdex.com if your solution to this terrible service is not rectified quickly

The business's response is completely fabricated. Below are my facts which proves that the business is presenting a fake story:
1) I can't be Gloss Nail's regular customer for couple of years when I have moved to Walnut Creek only 9...

months back. I have been going to this salon only for last 7 months (since last October)
2) As a matter of some reasoning - I don't think any business would offer free services to a customer for years at no cost. On the other hand, neither have I any such necessity or I actually did request for any additional service free of cost.
As a matter of proof - Attached are my credit card statements since last October clearly indicating the amount (highlighted in yellow) that I have paid to "Gloss Nails" for my each visit. This includes price for their services, plus $1 fee which they charge for credit card transactions, and 10-15% tip amount that I have been paying each time. (Please note that I have redacted my statements to hide confidential information). 
As can be verified from the statements I have paid them around $750 (including $118 paid in cash) in 7 months which calculates to an average of $107 each month. $107 is much more than total for their any waxing services. In such a scenario, how can the business say that I have not paid for their services?
3) It has been me, who has been accommodating by accepting their 
- Unsatisfactory service
- Waiting for long time despite taking prior appointments
- Impolite behavior on many occasions
Despite all this I have maintained to pay them at least 10-15% gratuity each time. I am not aware of what "extra" I needed to pay in addition to this? Neither the salon staff / manager ever expressed they want me to pay more, that I had denied.
5) During my last visit to this salon, the dealing staff left the job incomplete and walked away irresponsibly, which I couldn't have accepted as I had to go for an important event. Had she stated that she wants me to pay more for a cleaner job, I would have even paid that, but there was a rudeness from her without any reason. When I requested very politely for correction, she passed a sarcastic comment. Since the manager was sitting at front desk I had to reach out to her there for help. But it was she who instructed me in a very loud and offensive way, in front of all other customers, that I don't need to come there ever.
6) Gloss Nails has not provided complete services for the full charges paid by me, behaved disrespectfully and further adding to my horrific experience by writing fake accusations in their response. $50 cannot be total for manicure, pedicure and waxing, they are reasonable but they don’t charge this less. Business is just thoughtlessly stating anything to prove their point.
 
- Yelp reviews don't always present true picture about the business. Moreover, most of their reviews are for their nails services in which they are better. Also because of their reasonable pricing and convenient location many people see it as not bad a deal, instead of a very satisfactory deal. If you take a look at latest review about this business, it tells about their rude behavior & that’s what my point is too. In addition to that it's each people's individual experience and I don't want to comment on that.

Review: I had a pedicure completed by 3:30 pm Saturday May 10th. I placed my toes under the Spa's dryers for 30 minutes. I left my toes to air dry for another two hours. At 5:45 pm it became necessary to place shoes on, as I had a flight to catch (and going to the airport barefoot seems inappropriate!). A properly done pedicure should be dry enough to place shoes on after 2 1/2 hours. When I took my shoes off the pedicure had smudged. I wrote Gloss Nail Spa and sent them a picture of the smudges. Since I do not live locally I asked that they refund my money. They refuse to refund my money - I could come in and they'd touch it up of course, but I do not live in Milwaukee.Desired Settlement: I want my money back.
