Response to Customer Complaint,The customer did reserve a space for the 9/14/Manager training and testing at our office and paid $in total.The customer did attend the training on the 14th and took the manager test along with other trainees.Upon completion of all testing, as per the
requirements of the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals(NRFSP) the tests and answer sheets were bundled, sealed and delivered to *** for shipping to NRFSP where they would be corrected and with a passing grade year certificates would be issued. On 9/23/we became aware that the tests had not been received by NRFSP where upon we contacted *** tracking to inquire where the package was in their systemIt had been lost and continues to be lostWe contacted NRFSP for direction to proceedWe were instructed to reorder tests and retest all trainees for submission to correction and issuance of the certification.Each one of the trainees was contacted to reschedule testing---at no additional cost to them between Tuesday, September thru Friday, October either morning or afternoon appointmentAlso if those dates and times were not possible additional day and times would be made available to accommodate their scheduleEvery one of the trainees has retaken the test or is scheduled to be retested with the exception of the complainant-ant.When the complaint-ant was contacted and what had happened and what needed to happen was explained to him he tore into a tirade including threats blaming F&BA for the loss and demanded a certificate be issued without retestingIt was explained that would be a breach of our contractual requirements with NRFSP and that he would have to come into our office for retestingHe refused so we have refunded to him in total the fee of $and directed him to other testing options for certification with our sincere apology for the inconvenience to him.Abuse/harassment of our employees will not be tolerated---loss of the tests was beyond our control and we made every effort to provide the required retesting.*** ** ***President / CEO
