while it may have been somewhere written in the fine print of the contract the business was not upfront about not reporting to a credit bureau. After charging at least double what the car is worth and having a high interest rate I mistakenly had assumed that they would be reporting. I did attempt to contact the business regarding a change in my pay structure and the early due date but they were uncooperative and simply came back with "well you signed a contract" two years ago. That's not exactly what I'd call "understanding". I will never be doing business with this poor excuse for a dealership again.
In response to this complaint, we were every up front with the customer that we do not report to any credit bureau. We did inform customer that if she made her payments on time we would transfer her to a bank that does report to the credit bureau. We are unable to change payment dates once a loan...
has been contracted. We do however verify the dates work for the customer before we contract a loan. We have always been up front and understanding with our customers and plan to continue to be so.
Review: GM automotive funding has not been reporting the payments that I make to them on a monthly basis for a car that I purchased from them on 1-22-14 to any sort of credit bureau and has openly said that they don't do that. They said that in order to do that they would have to put my loan through a bank which they wouldn't do because when I called them a few months after purchasing my car to try to move my due date because my pay structure had changed they refused to accomodate and insisted on charging me an extra $10 per month for being "late".
