Review: Absolutely horrible service!!!!! Scratched up rims with no regard!! Did not complete job requirement with no regard!!! Stink attitude telling customer to get car off racks now cause they were not completing their service and to get out of shop or they were going to move the car them selves. No knowledge of use of equipment and no care to time management got to shop with 2 hours before 6:00. [redacted] who is the owner and manager says he was done it was time to close shop and it was time to go home that he was not going to get his hands dirty Left at 6:20 with barely any work done shop would not perform any labor that required actual physical work. This place promised they could do a alignment on a classic car as I repeatedly asked them to be sure job was doable before I got car off trailor Horrible! Horrible. [redacted] said I would have to return the next day to finish up the work. Absolutely No Regard that myself with family would have to return spending $80 dollars in gas going back and forth as we live 1hr and 15 min away. I return the next day trying to call before and no answer by 12:45 he says to me that he is refusing to do service with me and there is nothing he can do about it. I go next door to a credible shop they say that should be resolved by [redacted]. I go few buildings down to an alignment specialist and got the job done aligned in about 1 hour and 1/2 than man using same machine that [redacted] scratched my rims up using somehow made no scratches of his own. Although he took the time to try to fix [redacted]'s scratches and proceeded to buff and polish scratches out but could not. Shop stated [redacted] truly messed up rims and this will most likely take over $200 to get them fixed but still not back to the original state. I then go back to AC Delco show [redacted] rims and tell him the situation; he tells me that oh well there's nothing he can do about it, Take it up with your insurance. This guy has no regard for customer service or care and should not be running with no knowledge of work or common descensey to man

Product_Or_Service: I went for alignment of 66 mustang

Order_Number: XXXXX

Account_Number: [redacted] promisedDesired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)

Rims returned to presentable being that they will never be brand new again or I want new rims $600.$80 of gas money for 2 days that I went back and forth to this place. The first time they promised they could do the work no problem before I took down the car off trailor. The second time I was told to return the next day to finish up the work then service was refused. $20 for the food that I had to spend to feed self & family for the day he cancelled our appt. 1 whole day lost total = $1000

Initial Business Response

Mr. [redacted] trailered his 66 mustang to our facility at 4pm and requested an alignment. Please note Mr. [redacted] did not have an appointment nor did he call head. We agreed to align the vehicle however it took the vehicle owner 45 minutes to get vehicle off trailer. After reviewing the initial alignment specs we found the vehicle had major structural damage and a non-professional repair to left front shock tower and would required an excessive amount of adjustment. The damage was shown to him and it was explained to that secondary measurements needed to be performed to insure vehicle is structurally safe and that there was no extra charge for this service however we were out of time and asked for the vehicle to stay overnight or bring back in the AM. Mr. [redacted] became unreasonable stating he had been to 4 other facilities with the car that day and had traveled from [redacted] CA. It was explained we were unable to complete the vehicle that evening due to time constraints and would require the vehicle to stay overnight or return in the AM. Mr. [redacted] became irate and began insulting the technician assigned to his vehicle and refused to take the vehicle or leave it overnight. Mr. [redacted] was asked not to enter the service area due to insurance reasons without an employee and he refused. He began grabbing at the alignment equipment and instructing the technician to get a bottle jack and a prey bar and he would show the tech how to do it. The Yuba City Police department was called and placed on stand by. Mr. [redacted] then stated we will pay for his trip from [redacted] and requested a $150.00. I explained to him there was no charge for the inspection of his vehicle as we were unable to complete the alignment due to time constraints but I we be unable to pay him a $150.00. Mr. [redacted] then stated we scratched the wheels on his vehicle. I inspected the wheels on the vehicle and found rings on the wheel face from the rubber pads on the alignment head. I explained the machine is brand new and designed with rubber pad and the rings would wash away with normal washing and care. Mr. [redacted] returned the fallowing day and requested we align his vehicle again as if nothing had transpired. We refused to service his vehicle and he again became irate and asked us to pay for his alignment or wheels. He was asked to leave or the Police would be called. He returned later in the day explaining the alignment was done and the other facility took the time to polish his wheels and was now asking for $200.00. I inspected the wheels and found no rubber ring marks but did find polish marks in the wheels. I explained to Mr. [redacted] I see no error in our policy or procedure nor any damage to his vehicle in any way. If he felt there was damages then file a claim with his insurance and allow them to work this out for him. To date he has failed to due so. I am grateful another facility aligned his vehicle. Mr. [redacted] was never charged for any service at our facility.

Review: I own a 2005 [redacted] corvette and was experiencing issues with my car overheat due to low coolant warnings. So I took my car to GM specialist in Yuba City for help. I paid for a car diagnostic and paid 400$ for a repair and additional 256.19 for the water pump. After driving the car for a few hours the same problem occurred my car was overheating. After speaking with GM specialist employee [redacted] I learned they were at wrong and said it is now a problem with the radiator which was fine before taking it to their shop.Im very upset because the bad service I received and GM Specialist broke my radiator during the repair. I paid for the car diagnose before the repair not once was a radiator mentioned. Now I have to go back to the shop and my car isn't working yet experiencing more problems that weren't mentioned before. I know hundred percent it wasn't the radiator because a local mechanic checked it before and he suggested go to GM specialist for a water pump repair only to be let down. I will not pay for the repair because GM Specialist didn't mention a radiator crack before the diagnostic. They broke it on purpose and are contacted bad business. I paid for a diagnostic and invested over 600 dollars only to have the same issue and end up back in their shop.Desired Settlement: Ive already spent over 600 dollars and I will not pay for the repair because GM Specialist didn't mention a radiator crack before the diagnostic. They broke it on purpose and are contacted bad business. I paid for a diagnostic and invested over 600 dollars only to have the same issue and end up back in their shop.

Response:

I have reviewed the compliant presented from Mr. [redacted]. On 3/13/2015 at mileage 60,886 Mr. [redacted] brought his 2005 [redacted] Corvette to our service department for a low coolant lamp on, vehicle overheating and fluid leaking from under engine. The cause was found to be a failed water pump and had incorrect antifreeze installed. It was recommended to Mr. [redacted] to replace the water pump with an OEM part and service the vehicles antifreeze with the correct [redacted]. It was also noted the vehicle maintenance lamp was on, oil pressure gauge was reading inaccurate. Mr. [redacted] declined repairs and indicated [redacted] would repair at no cost. The fallowing day Mr. [redacted] explained he did not want to deal with [redacted] and requested we installed a replacement water pump he had purchased from [redacted]. The [redacted] water pump was installed and antifreeze service performed. The engine cooling system was then retested and found to be operating as designed. Mr. [redacted] returned 5 days later at mileage 60,972 with a major coolant leak from front of vehicle. The leak was inspected at no charge to Mr. [redacted] and found to be the right hand plastic radiator tank had split open causing a major antifreeze leak. Mr. [redacted] requested our company replace the radiator at no charge to him and indicated someone from our department sabotaged his vehicle. We assured Mr. [redacted] this was not the case and pointed out the vehicle is 10 years old and was severely overheated prior to replacement of the water pump and was driven 5 days and 86 miles. With the severity of the leak the vehicle could not have been driven longer than 2 miles in its current condition. It was also pointed out the vehicle had collision damage to the right front of vehicle, the same side the radiator tank had split (see attached photographs). Mr. [redacted] stated he had hit a parked car. The vehicle is now in our service department with Mr. [redacted] authorization to replace and awaiting his supplied radiator. I sympathize with Mr. [redacted] frustration. Our job #1 is customer satisfaction and each employee takes pride in every service we offer. The service advisor has offered to Mr. [redacted] and his father to come in to our service department and physically inspect the radiator with our technician and to date our offer is open. In this circumstance given the age of the vehicle, the prior overheating of the engine and present body damage our position is firm. I recommend Mr. [redacted] has another service facility give a second opinion and install his supplied radiator.
