The part number provided by this customer did not come up as a valid [redacted] part number at all for the machine the customer stated they had.  The part that was requested was a fuser unit for a [redacted] & what we supplied was exactly that.  The correct fuser unit...

for this machine is part number FM1-[redacted] (AKA [redacted]) and that is exactly what was shipped to this customer.  The reason for this return is not because the unit itself was incorrect or deffective but because another part that is installed on and attached to the top of the fuser unit is causing an issue.  We do not know what the part number for that item is nor did we attempt to sell this customer that part.  If the fuser unit we sold you had a manufacturer defect, was incorrectly listed on our website or had been damaged in shipping we would be able to take the item back without question.  Even if the unit was just no longer needed after it was delivered & the customer just simply wanted to return the item we would be able to take the item back had it not been installed into the machine.  However since the unit was the correct part that was requested, there were no manufacturer defects, the item was not damaged in shipping, the factory seals on the item were broken & this unit was installed into said machine we are unable to take this product back.  Our return policy does not allow us to take back items in this manor because the item can no longer be sold as new and becomes a total loss for GM Supplies.  These units are very sensitive items & GM Supplies cannot resell this item as a new item this would not be fair to any other customer who may need this unit in the future.  Although we do understand this customers frustration in this matter GM Supplies is not in the business of sending parts to customers so they can test them to see if it corrects a problem only to take the item back as a total loss for the company.  Furthermore the return policy is clearly labeled on our website & there is a link to the return policy at the bottom of every single page on our site.  So for this customer to say we are hiding the return policy deep within our website is simply not true.
