They're not the typical profit making machines. They're experienced and they don't cut corners in this job. I have hired them a few times already and they have always come out swinging. GM van lines managed my move within the allotted time and without any kind of damage. There were many fragile items and some heavy furniture but nothing became the reason of any unwanted delay or damage. I also need to mention that they did not charge me a lot. I am pretty happy with the amount they charged.

They were to arrive between 11 and 1. No show or call so we called and we're to told they had mechanical trouble so it would be around 3. 3 came but no movers and no call. We called and we're told that the one bedroom move they had turned into a 4 bedroom that was 1.5 hours away and they would be here by 8. Eight came and then nine with no movers or a phone call. Once we called they did not even know how we were but once he finally did he stated the truck ran out of gas on 75 so they had send a mechanic. Seriously! You think I will give you responsibility of my belongings when your men aren't responsible enough to put gas I. The [redacted] truck? Asked for a refund but thank God it went through paypal.
I hired GM van lines to move all the big things. Before their arrival to pack and upload, I finished wrapping all the tiny items. They did a very nice job with the move. They managed to take very good care of all my furniture. Not a single dent. No need to say the result. They passed with one hundred percent marks. Well done folks.

My moving time frame was in the afternoon and their sales rep called me around 9 in the morning that day just to check everything once again. From then on, it was going smooth. I had a long distance move and it was a nice experience for me. No broken or damaged items, no hidden costs! I would not hesitate to recommend these guys to all my family and friends. Great but not expensive! I must admit that their rating here is truly deserved. When I contacted the salesman, he was responsive and friendly telling me all the important things I was supposed to know. We made an agreement and then on the moving day, the four workers and the foreman came to pack my belongings. It was wonderful how careful they were with all my furniture. Everything stayed intact, no dents at all. They were well equipped and they finished the entire packing in few hours. Very quick and efficient!
