GMA ROOFING

On April 18, 2013 I signed an agreement with a company called GMA Roofing representative [redacted] (who claimed to be a Revdex.com accredited business) for repairs to my roof. My insurance company, [redacted] approved the exterior and interior repairs and issued a check, minus my $500 deductible, to myself, my mortgage company, and to GMA Roofing. I signed and released the check ($4,650.05) to Mr. [redacted]. The work to the roof was done, but I found some problems with the workmanship and called Mr. [redacted] regarding the problems I found. Mr. [redacted] assured me that the problems would be corrected. He also informed me that I would need to pay him the deductible amount before the interior work would be done on my house. This raised a "red flag" since he had already received the insurance check. And, I requested from him a detail of all expenses he had paid for my roof repairs. I also told him I would not pay the $500 deductible until all work was completed. Since then he has not returned any of my phone calls and the ceilings in my house have not been repaired.Product_Or_Service: Roof / Interior Wall RepairDesired SettlementRefund of the amount the insurance company paid him (in advance) for my interior repairs. That way I can pay some one else to do the repairs. Also, for GMA Roofing to come and "fix" the problems I found with my roof before more damage is caused. Also, for the Revdex.com to investigate their Revdex.com accreditation (I cannot find any information on your Web site).Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I requested a detail of [redacted] expenses and a list of all work and supplies used for the repairs on my roof. Yes, I did try to contact [redacted] (several times) at the only phone number that was supplied to me. [redacted] told me he was going in to business for himself and to speak to only him.Business Response I am willing to send out a field agent to her home to assess the work that has not been done. After assessment of the work, I am also willing to have the problem resolved.
