I went in for a standard oil change and all of the sudden I started having an oil leakI took my car to a mechanic with in days of the oil leak, and it turns out my oil filter cap had been put on sideways, my oil filters cross threaded and double gasketWhen I showed Valvoline the documentation of all of this, they informed me there was absolutely nothing they could do, and that they "cannot refund everyone, every seconds"Also, I was informed that this location has cameras that record video footage of every oil change and that's how Valvoline claimed they had done everything perfectly during my oil changeThe manager even went so far to say he could see the employee screwing the oil filter cap on perfectly, and he could also see that it was not double gasket or cross filtered(must be some pretty powerful video footage from multiple angles!) However, when I asked to see the footage that disproved Valvoline from liability for my damages, the manager informed me they could not give that to me unless I took them to courtThen the manager said "oops, that is not what I meant, I should not have said that"I lost over $because of Valvoline's carelessness, wasted hours trying to get my car fixed, and wasted hours during the work day talking to managersThe main manager ended up hanging up on me after informing me that our conversation was over and my claim was denied all because of this "video" that customers are not allowed to viewIt's ironic how the manager said he could not trust the mechanic who worked on my car, nor the documentation I received from the mechanic, but that Valvoline's "video" was all that they were going by to determine they could not give me any sort of reimbursement, not even for the actual oil changeThis was entirely unacceptable and the worst customer service I have ever dealt with- I find it absolutely unprofessional and unethical to refer to customers as "sweetheart" when dealing with matters such as these

Worst experience everWho knew changing oil would be so difficultService techs and management lack the needed skills to work on automobiles

I went in for a standard oil change and all of the sudden I started having an oil leak. I took my car to a mechanic with in days of the oil leak, and it turns out my oil filter cap had been put on sideways, my oil filters cross threaded and double gasket. When I showed Valvoline the documentation of all of this, they informed me there was absolutely nothing they could do, and that they "cannot refund everyone, every 5 seconds". Also, I was informed that this location has cameras that record video footage of every oil change and that's how Valvoline claimed they had done everything perfectly during my oil change. The manager even went so far to say he could see the employee screwing the oil filter cap on perfectly, and he could also see that it was not double gasket or cross filtered. (must be some pretty powerful video footage from multiple angles!) However, when I asked to see the footage that disproved Valvoline from liability for my damages, the manager informed me they could not give that to me unless I took them to court. Then the manager said "oops, that is not what I meant, I should not have said that". I lost over $350 because of Valvoline's carelessness, wasted 8 hours trying to get my car fixed, and wasted 2 hours during the work day talking to managers. The main manager ended up hanging up on me after informing me that our conversation was over and my claim was denied all because of this "video" that customers are not allowed to view. It's ironic how the manager said he could not trust the mechanic who worked on my car, nor the documentation I received from the mechanic, but that Valvoline's "video" was all that they were going by to determine they could not give me any sort of reimbursement, not even for the actual oil change. This was entirely unacceptable and the worst customer service I have ever dealt with- I find it absolutely unprofessional and unethical to refer to customers as "sweetheart" when dealing with matters such as these.

Horrible experience! I went in to get my truck inspected and their Manager said it failed two area's (license plate lights, and rear tires). Fine, no problem. I went and bought new tires, then I replaced the bulbs for the license plate myself.

When I went back in to get my truck inspected again the Manager xxxxx was arguing with me on why it failed the first time. He told me I was wrong, and that he knows more about inspections than I do. he basically said that I was an it and he was far smarter. This was in the first 30 seconds of the conversation. First of all, how does he know I didn't used to do inspections for another company? That just set me off. What he said was bad enough, but the way he said it made it even worse. He was so condescending and disrespectful that I couldn't keep my mouth shut. NO CUSTOMER should ever be treated like that.

Then he refused to do the inspection and told me to leave. This guy needs a serious dose of reality. Unbelievable. I will NEVER go to a Valvoline Instant Oil Change again.
