GMH Fence Company

GMH fence has not installed a post to the gate properly for the second time. I have requested this repair in person twice and on the phone 4 timesThe day of installation two workers showed up the Saturday as agreed, so far so good. The workers started to install the fence. Not too long after they arrived, one of the workers expressed many times being in a hurry to finish before the liquor store close. The same worker broke two pipes and as water was coming out, he carelessly continued and just poured cement in the hole. This happened twice. I had to stay outside supervising these people the whole time they were doing the job, because the workers were in such a hurry to leave that I was afraid they were going to keep braking stuff and then I'd be in trouble with the city. Several of the posts were cut instead of making a deeper hole, just to hurry up. They (GMH) installed the gate lock incorrectly and didn't realize it until the post was already installed with cement. They refused to fix it then and told me they would come back. I asked them to call me before coming over my house. Well, they didn't call me. They came to my house while I wasn't there and cut the previous post and installed a new one, now my gate AND post are loose again, just shy of a month of installation. My gate won't close unless I push the post to the side. I have called this company (GMH) four times, I have gone to their office twice and still no response. We called [redacted] to make sure it was done to her satisfaction, she did not answer, a message was left but have not heard back from her. Due to not hearing back from [redacted] we believe the problem has been resolved and she is satisfied with the fence installation.Consumer's Final Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)The business reports they had fixed the problem before I filed the complain, which makes absolutely no sense, however after filing the complain with Revdex.com on 8/16/13, GMH has taken care of the problem as of 8/22/13. Work is not complete as specified in the contract and repairs need to b made to existing work.On [redacted] we contracted GMH fence to install a vinyl fence with chain link fence down the driveway.the estimate for the fence was [redacted] which was paid in full with a charge card prior to them starting the job.approx [redacted] 2013 I contacted them to find out why the fence in the driveway was not pool code as stated in the estimate.they said they would send someone out to fix this problem.there is also a lock that broke off the vinyl fence and cement that is crumbling where the poles were put in the driveway.they stated to me that they could not drill the holes in the driveway to bring the fence to pool code during the winter.I have now been contacting them since [redacted] 2014 and no repairs have been made and the fence is still not up to pool code as of today [redacted]Desired SettlementWould like the fence brought to pool code as stated in the estimate that we paid for n repairs to be made.Business Response GMH Fence will be going out to meet with [redacted] and correct her fence issues tomorrow am.
