I have attached the waiver the runners who complained about signed or did not signthe event is a running event and the waiver they signed or did not sign is done by law firms through our registration platformsBy signing the waiver the runners clearly understands how they get refunds and how they
do not get refundsIn this case the gentleman did receive a refund even though our company did not have to because our waiver clearly state only if the race is canceled and it was not canceled it is happening gin a weekHe could not make the new date we offered a refund he did not get it in the time he wanted it but he did get itThis complaint is beyond absurdThe runner should read his waivers he signed or did not sign and understand his right to a refundNo events in our industry f the event still happens gives any refund but we didI say that is good business and good customer relations. Waiver: LIABILITY WAIVER AND RACE AGREEMENT: I know that running or walking a road or trail race is a potentially hazardous activityI will not enter and run unless I am medically able to do so and properly trainedI assume all risks associated with running or walking this event, including but not limited to the effects of weather, traffic, course conditionsI understand that GMP Marketing group and all others assisting in the operations of the event and its supporting and related activities assume no responsibility or liability with respect to my participation in the run or in any related eventsHaving read this waiver, and knowing these facts, and in consideration of the acceptance of my entry, I for myself and any person entitled to act on my behalf do hereby release, GMP Marketing Group, The city of Murrieta CA, together with their employees, contractors, subcontractors, even though liability may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of persons or organizations named in this waiver and releaseThe Athlete acknowledges that the entry fee paid is non-refundable and non-transferableThe Athlete acknowledges and agrees GMP Marketing Group, in its sole discretion, may delay or cancel the Event if it believes the conditions on the race day are unsafeIn the event the Event is delayed or cancelled for any reason, including but not limited to: fire, threatened or actual strike, labor difficulty, work stoppage, insurrection, war, public disaster, flood, unavoidable casualty, acts of God or the elements (including without limitation, rain, hail, hurricane, tornado, earthquake), or any other cause beyond the control of GMP Marketing Group, there shall be no refund of the entry fee or any other costs of the Athlete in connection with the Event

I would like to add that it was not until I filed this complaint did they honor the refund offerI received the refund on February 8th, I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
