My fiancé and I have recently purchased a house. We are renovating the house from top to bottom. We decided to do hire GNC kitchen designs to do our kitchen renovation. We have encountered many issues with GNC kitchen. First and foremost, GNC kitchen lack professionalism and business etiquette. Their customer service is well below sub par. As a paying customer, I have to continuously call GNC kitchen to get updates on the progress of my cabinets, counter tops etc. ( they didn't even have the decency to call me to let me know that my cabinets are ready for delivery, I had to call them, and they said it was ready for over a week) . They are unable to schedule appointments ( their idea of scheduling an appointment is telling the customer they will come "sometime during the day"). After I inform them I need a specific time, as I am working, they are unable to come on scheduled time. After booking an appointment to have my cabinets delivered it gets rescheduled three times ! On the second " rescheduled day" They call me, less than an hour it's supposed to be delivered to inform me that the cabinets aren't dried yet and they need to reschedule to another day. I got quite upset as this appointment was rebooked once already and they were given over 1 week advance notice to have the cabinets ready. In addition, my fiancé took time off of work to accommodate for the first day, and I took time off of work to accommodate for the rescheduled day. Now, I had to take time off of work once again to accommodate for another day. I explained my situation and the inconvenience, and the sales representative was unable to sympathize. On the day of the cabinet installation, they were unable to finish the job due to "lack of materials." I called the next day, to inform the employee that one cabinet door is unable to open all the way and is hitting the other cabinet door( which will eventually damage to door). *** ( the boss) came over the next day, and tried to find a solution ( he ended up taking the cabinet door) A couple of days later, the counter top was installed, however once again the job was unfinished as they had brought the incorrect sink. Two days later, they same to fix the cabinet door, install then kick step and glass door ( which they had lacked materials initially) and install the sink. One worker installed the kick step and glass door. Once I checked the glass door, it was covered in glue and there was a long scratch on the inside of the glass. The worker stated that *** did this job in the morning and was well aware of the product he was giving us. I also showed the same worker the big holes that were made near the plumbing ( this was created by the cabinet installation people) in which I'm unable to store anything behind it as it would fall through the hole.

Side note story behind the plumbing:
When *** came to my house to take initial measurements, he originally told us to reconfigure the plumbing as it would give us more cupboard space. We did just that.

The worker simply put another piece of wood to cover the hole and nail it down ( messy job once again). I called GNC and spoke to *** to inform them that I am unhappy with the messy incomplete job they have even doing, and the inconvenience that it has been causing me, and the time frame for a complete kitchen is being delayed because it's continuously one mistake after another. I also spoke to ***. On the phone with ***, he kept cutting me off and wouldn't take the time to listen to my concerns. *** decide to come to my house in the evening that same day. Once he was at my house, *** was conducting himself in a very *** manner. *** once again would cut me off. *** made excuses and stated and I quote " his workers don't do 100% of the job." He also made excuses that my house is old, my kitchen is small, the floor is uneven, which is apparently the reason why he's unable to finish the job on time and it's the reason why they have made so many mistakes. He also made completely irrelevant statements to try to rationalize why my kitchen hasn't been completed. He referred to shootings in Toronto and car accidents. *** decided to take my glass door and tried to resolve the hole in the bottom cabinet by telling us to cut the pipes and then he would replace part of the wood by cutting it off. I told ***, that if he had communicated with us while they were installing the cabinets ( we were home) to simply cut the pipes then this whole situation would have been avoided. We followed his suggestion the first time and we would have definitely followed it a second time to avoid big holes in the cabinet and a loss of storage. No apology whatsoever. I told *** that the kitchen has been delayed over 2 weeks now because it's one, incomplete messy job after the next. I simply asked for a discount. *** asked me what I think is reasonable. I then asked him what he thinks is reasonable as he's heard all my complaints and concerns for nearly a month and he's the boss. *** told me that I should give him a number. I told him $300 and he told me that it's either he doesn't repair anything and I give him the remainder of the amount owed, or he repairs it and I have to give him the full amount owed. I told *** that the discount I asked for was the sheer inconvenience, delay, hassle and stress that you guys have caused. I told *** that if I had initially l asked for a discount of $600, he would have made me the same deal, which makes no sense. *** proceeded to leave my house with the glass door is tow and yelled at me to " go back to India." I then called *** on his cellphone and asked him to drop off the glass cabinet door, and I would give him his cheque as I don't want someone who's is *** and makes *** slurs at my house. *** responded by telling me that he is not doing that and wi

Desired Outcome

I would like any customer who is considering about conducting business with this company to think twice. GNC kitchen lack any and all customer service experience. I would like to get a discount after all The hardships this company has made us endure

There were some issue with the renovation due to various reason, as business owner, I have tried all my best to resolve the problem and accommodate customer's request, fg we have brought back the glass door and fixed it ASAP, it's ready to pick up on Sept 18 - we sent the email to *** to pickup, no response so far.

As a small business, we know customer is the king, there maybe some communication issue, we are looking for meeting the customer to resolve the issue.
