Review: in February I purchased a tv stand which was a floor sample that I inspected before agreeing to purchase it, all I saw were a couple of scratches on the wood. I also purchased a platform bed. it was my understanding from the sales rep that the tv stand would be delivered already assembled as it was on the floor. I didn't want to assemble it myself as ive done with all the furniture in my apartment that needs assembling. so at that point I agree to purchase it. The manager took 100 dollars off the price. the delivery guy stated that the product was new because he told the manager he refused to deliver a floor sample to anyone, he said they found a new one in the back of the store, so I thanked him. while they were assembling the tv stand before it was fully done I noticed a damage piece, so I told them to stop assembling it because I didn't want it. I then called the store and the manager told me to let them finish assembling it and take a picture of the damaged piece. I didn't think that made any sense but they continued with the assembling of the tv stand. Being someone who has put many pieces of furniture together I know that once a piece is damaged that bad eventually the tv stand would fall apart. I paided 299.99 dollars for this piece of furniture and I was not satisfied as I told the store manager many times. they ordered the damaged part and while waiting for it to be delivered to me I decided to push the tv stand out the middle of my floor from where the guys left it. lord and behold the pieces came loose because like I told the store manager it wasn't put together correctly, his response to me was the guys were professionals. he wanted to send the guys back out to put it together again and I refused finally he offered to send out a new one if I put it together myself and we never speak of the tv stand again so I agreed. when the guys came to deliver the new tv stand I was at work. they came in my house looked at the old one took pictures and left back out with the new tv stand leaving the old one there and told my son to tell me to call the store which I did when I got home. now the manager is yelling in the background because he wouldn't even get on the phone, you never said it was in pieces I can't put that back on the floor, if I didn't tell him it fell apart when I pushed it why in the world would he have offered to send out a new one you never I told the store manager who was being very rude that it doesn't take a professional to put together furniture, it takes someone who knows how to understand what they're reading. from day one he was being uncooperative because he told me do what you want the bank already paided me my money. when the bank called to see if I was satisfied with my delivery and I explained everything that was done and said but they still paided him. that left me stuck having to pay for furniture I can't do anything with. I tried to get a lawyer thru my union but they don't handle cases under 500.00 dollars. I called the manufacturer of the tv stand and guess what they don't deal with consumers. I called the store against my sanity and faxed them a picture from the manual of the pieces I needed. they said 6-8 weeks its been three months and they haven't called to say anything but I called and they said we haven't gotten them yet. this issue has been going on since February and still hasn't been resolved. the bed that the guy put together was lopsided and the store was suppose to send him back out to fix it when they delivered the new tv stand which they delivered and took back, the bed never got fixed also since February,and now the bed slats cracked in half.finished I don't feel I should continue payment to the bank until my issues with this furniture is resolved because I told the bank what was going on before they paided the furniture store. they didn't care about anything I said or my money I have to pay them for financing. ive called the bank several times and no one would help. they said all we do is pay the store but what about the consumer? I don't have free money sitting on the side to give away. the bank left me now stuck paying for damaged goods I can't do anything with. I spoke to the store manager as well as capitol discount corporation on these dates the first store contact was on February [redacted] pertaining to the issue on hand. the first contact with the bank was on march [redacted] where I explained what happened at the time of delivery and told them I was not satisfied with the delivery but they paided the store anyway. other contact dates with both parties are march [redacted], march [redacted], march [redacted], and april [redacted] which is also the last contact date with the bank but there were further contact dates with the store as well as this morning I called to see what was going on with the pieces for my tv stand and the slats for my bedDesired Settlement: either replace the tv stand or get me the pieces that I need. and get the slats for the platform bed also.

Thanks for bringing the above matter into our attention. After researching this order we found the follow: As [redacted] advise ,she brought this TV Stand "As Is Floor Sample" from our show room.

When we delivered the Stand to her house ,we did find it to be damaged while assembly it, and we ordered the appropriate part to fix it. When the part arrived, we did go back to [redacted] home to find out ,that the Tv Stand has moved and was totaled completely. Even though it was not our fought this time, we advised [redacted], to list all parts missing and we promised to come back and fix it. Some of the parts had to special ordered from over seas, which was explained to [redacted] and its take 8-10 weeks.

As of now those parts are already ordered and its has been already 6 weeks. I believe we should have the complete missing parts by the Middle of August. As promised and agreed with [redacted], we will advise her when all parts arrived ,that she can stop by and picked them up.

We are sorry for any inconvenient its cause, and will make sure to satisfy [redacted].

Again thank for update us with above customer respond. As we mentioned before , we ate really would like to solve this issue and close the case. [ even called you today, and left a message.

As of now , we do have all [redacted] parts for the TV stand and for the bed. She asked us to advise her when its arrived, in order for her to pick it up, We did left her 2 voice messages , and finally talked to her on the phone. She REFUSED to pick up parts as agreed. We offer to send out driver again for

$50 and she refused!!!.

At this point I don't see anything we can do differently .

Review: On 10/**/14 I purchased a living room and bedroom set from go go furniture. After delivery men left, I noticed a defect with the foot board. I called the company and they asked for photos of the defected product, which I produced. Go Go furniture then said they would replace defected product but it would be done in two weeks. Two weeks has passed and I received no calls or emails from this company so I decided to call them. A store representative answered the phone and was very rude and told me she had other customers in the store and I will have to call back after 3pm. I explained to her that I too am a customer and needed assistance regarding my defective item. She then hung up the phone on me. I paid $3000 cash for this merchandise and should not be treated so rudely by their store representative. I want a resolution or I shall take whatever further steps that are necessary to resolved this matter.Desired Settlement: Replace defective foot board
