Go Sondors

I ordered two Sondors Fold X series bikes which reportedly came with the LCD screens. The bikes arrived, but the LCd's did not, after 3 weeks of chats with the company they finally sent the LCDs to USPS...I have still not received them. Customer service, which by the way is only live chat, offered no service recovery options, only apologies and excuses. "Unforseeable circumstances" they said. How could you advertise the LCD as part of the package and then not forsee sending it. I like the bike but not happy with the customer service. Would not recommend this company to anybody right now.

Review: On 3/8/2015 I purchased a bike "yet not even produced." As a matter of fact, it's still in overall production from this infant company. We have to wait till August for the bike to even be shipped. I contacted the company and asked for my $649 refund as I' now on full disability as a single parent without a single penny of income. Not only has this company refused my refund on a product that at this moment is not event fully built, it has the audacity to send me bills telling me to pay an additional $194 to have the bike shipped to me or won't ever see the bike. That's adding insult to injury. There was never a no refund policy and this is nothing short of disturbing how this company operates.Desired Settlement: I just want my refund of $649.

Review: I have yet to receive a response from the gosondors campaign office, but based on my "ticket number" it appears I'm not the only one grieving about their campaign administration failings.

I want a refund. A refund of US$ 2396 I paid for the "perk" of obtaining 4 Sondors bikes as a "first wave" supporter of their hugely successful funding campaign with Indiegogo. I intend to compalin to Revdex.com San Fransico about Indiegogo's antics as well.

As far as I understand, Indiegogo serve as Sondors' bankers. As an original "first-wave" supporter of this go sondors campaign I am extremely disappointed by sondors' failure to honour their promise to deliver the bikes as proposed in their project manifesto.

Importantly, they have failed to provide the appropriate documents I requested to make the importation of bicycles into Namibia possible reflects patently poor business skills.

I have alerted the USA embassy in Windhoek, Namibia to this unfortunate matter and they proposed that I pursue a financial claim from Indiegogo and Sondors as a matter of public priniciple. Indeed, they advised that I submit a complaint about Indiegogo and Sondors to the Revdex.com office in San Francisco and Delaware respectively.

I continue to hope that the Sondors campaign office will eventually come clean on our "investment" and return these funds or provide the documentation for an eventual delivery to be completed. We've also built a couple of E-bikes independently, and will continue to explore other options to convert conventional bikes at the lowest possible cost - with an eye on making such conversions available to the rhino conservation project as we originally envisaged doing with the sondors bikes.

I'm following several folks grieving online - all battling for some, any, response from Sondors to their very similar queries and protests, and while a few USA-based contributors have received their bikes in the past two weeks or so, the vast majority of contributors (outside USA) have not had any joy.

[redacted]Desired Settlement: Go Sondors must honour its obligation to deliver on promises it made to a huge number of supporters in USA and internationally. Selective delivery of bikes to folks in the USA and ignoring international deliveries completely, in spite of an earlier promise to deliver on a supporter "wave" basis, is unacceptable. Failure to deliver appropriate documentation I need to import the bikes into Namibia is unacceptable. They need to significantly improve their adminstration capacity to deal with the complexities of international shipping, customs and excise legislation, and not hide behind a purported "one-man-show" scenario as an excuse for such extremely poor business practice.
