experience with one of our drivers Any negative experience that anyone has with any of our staff is a matter our company always takes seriously, most especially when it involves the safety of our community.Regarding the day in question, our dispatch team tried to work with Mr*** to resolve this matter. We did in fact take the information, and we did in fact address the issues with the driver.However, it appears from reading Mr***'s complaint in conjunction with the phone conversation our dispatch team had with him, that the bulk of his irritation was that we requested information from him that he did not want to give.When Mr*** became upset during his phone call, our dispatcher tried to explain that we are required by the city of Eugene, as a licensed operator, to obtain certain information when taking complaints.I would like to draw your attention to Eugene city code - C section part D titled "Complaint Records," (for your convenience I have attached a copy of the City's pdf file outlining the rules set forth by the city that regulates the taxi industry in our area).It states:"Complaint RecordsThe operators of all public passenger vehicle companies shall maintain a record of all complaints lodged against the operator's company and/or personnelThose records shall reflect:(1) The complaining party or parties by name, address, and telephone number; (2) allegation; (3) The incident date of the complaint and a summary of the complaint The name( s) of personnel complained against; and (4) A summary of the complaint inquiry and the outcome and company actions as a result of that inquiry."We do not require the age of the complainant.Go Taxi, LLC did not create the procedural policy on the complaint taking process and does not have the authority to change it If Mr*** would like to see the policy changed, we recommend he reach out to the City of Eugene.Yours truly,Mike S*Go Taxi, LLC
