Due to ill health my wife could not travel to South Africa with meSo my Granddaughter accompanied meGoTouch Down went out of their way to provide us separate room accommodations and even one place separate cabins I was told by one representative that we would find the meals in South Africa exceptionalAll the meals were above my expectationsThe safari guides did there utmost to locate even more wild life than I expected to seeI would love to take another one of their tours and feel the cost although appearing high was what made this experience one to remember Thank you Go Touch Down Tours Sincerely Floyd

In I attended at the Touch of Africa (Touch de L'Afrique) Cafe in downtown Oakville with a friend At that time there was a contest hosted by the store where you could submit a card with your name and contact information in order to potentially win a trip to South Africa Little did I know at the time that the [redacted] contest was nothing more than a ploy to add my personal contact information to this travel agency's telephone solicitation list So over the next years right up to the present, I have received intermittent calls from both the Ontario office of this travel agency as well as its US affiliate trying to advertise their services I have repeatedly requested that these phone calls be stopped as I have no interest in purchasing services from this company nor was it disclosed then in entering the contest I would be put on a permanent telephone solicitation list Had a known that from the outset, I would never have entered into the [redacted] contest [redacted]

We travelled to South Africa and had a wonderful experience The tour staff attended to our needs as if we were family and were very protective especially in areas that were considered risky Our lodging was superior as were the meals during the entire trip and our safari was over the top as everything exceeded our expectations

After many letters with Go TouchDown requesting either a refund of our all or part of our deposit or a credit towards another trip (other than Africa) from their travel agency,they refused to act on either request. The amount($1493x2=$2986) they are holding is substantial.. I have request a settlement here but they will not cooperate.

A sales agreement was completed with two traveling companions in Clearwater on 11/23/with Go Touch Down Travel for apx $for a trip to AfricaA down payment was made for $No travel dates were booked as the soonest trip was in August One travel companion cancelled due to health issues and, I did as well, as I have had recent surgeries and advised not to take a trip this far or long The other companion cancelled due to negative postings by employees on their siteA cancellation fee was mentioned in their literature of 20% for a processed application but ours was never processed as final payment was bit nade and a travel date was not established I am willing to pay a cancellation fee of 20% of the $but expect to be paid back 80% of the down payment which is only fair Other travel agencies I checked with charge between $and $for a cancelled trip., My travel companions charged their down payments on *** *** and cancelled and paid NOTHING

We highly recommend Go Touch Down for tours to South AfricaWe went in December and was one of the most memorable and wonderful trips that we have ever been onThe tours are fantastic right down to the final details including accommodations, food, wine tasting, day trip tours, safari They will also customize your trip! We plan to go back to South Africa with Go Touch Down and try one of the new safari adventures Lisa and Brian

Fabulous experience Go Touch Town from the moment I contacted them regarding a trip to South Africa showed enthusiasm, knowledge and professionalism The trip was more than I could have ever imagined The tour arrangements and accommodations in Cape Town exceeded my expectations Our driver Johnathan was super, the itinerary was good and the restaurants and meals offered were of outstanding value The HumalaRiver Lodge and Safari offered excitement, super views, meals and the staff was friendly and went out of their way to show us a great stay I would have enjoyed more time at the Seasons Spa and less time at Kruger National Park That day was extremely long and tiring

Tour was excellent, lived up to our expectations Meals and tour guides also above our expectations Accommodations also wonderful

Our experience with Go Touch Down Travel and Tours has been extremely positive from beginning to end Prior to travelling, the office provided us with great recommendations and help with our bookings (even outside of our selected tour package) We chose the safari tour - which was wonderful ! We particularly loved our stay at Humala River Lodge, but have to say that the entire trip exceeded our expectationsGreat staff throughout, very accommodating to everyone's individual needs Great food ! Incredibly beautiful country to visitWe had a wonderful trip and are already planning another Would not hesitate to recommend

I entered a "contest" at the Royal Winter Fair in Nov I was called and told I had won a gift and had to attend an "information evening" at Go Touch Down Travel to collectI attended the info evening on March
At the "information evening", I discovered that I had not really won anything except the opportunity to pay for a South African safari over timeAs part of that agreement I would receive gift vouchers that were only good if something was purchased from the Go Touch Down storeI feel and believe that I was tricked into believing I had won something, not just a high pressure sales pitch with the promise of gift vouchers if the trip is purchased
At the "information evening", the terms of the contract were not explained and we were not permitted to read it before we signedIf the terms of the contract had been explained in full and adequately, would never have signed for the tripI truly feel that I was duped and pressured into purchasing this tripFrom t
