Leon and the entire team were great! They worked with my insurance company and got the claim approved quickly. The guys showed up on time to do the work and completed the roof by the next morning and did a great job cleaning up. Would highly recommend God Built Roofs!

We loved working with GBR. They were easy to work with throughout the whole process. They did a fantastic job on our roof. The new roof looks amazing. We strongly recommend!

Thank you so much for the kind words! You guys were the best clients and we loved working with you all! Happy to help you with your roof!
- The GBR Team

I would highly recommend Leon and his team. Leon worked so hard with our insurance company to make sure that our roof replacement was processed fairly and that our out-of-pocket cost was minimal. His team worked hard to get the roof replaced in two days. They were clean and efficient. We are very satisfied customers.

GBR was awesome ! They helped me choose the best color, they were on time and did very high quality work! Highly recommend them. Lovely people as well!

GBR have done work that was not authorized on my home, and trying to charge for things that they did not do, and damaged my property and without fix
GBR replaced my roof on my house, GBD took my roof off on a Thursday morning and did not realize that they did not have the roof I ordered and it started to rain, a supervisor was not on property when this happen. While waiting for a supervisor to show up I received a phone call from my insurance company about 820am that morning for a supplemental payment increases that GBR had already submitted without an additional inspection to account for the supplemental increase, this was a fraudulent act that was done by GBR. Also they damaged my property, Cameras from throwing shingles and ladders falling off and damaging my satellite dishes. I had informed them of the fraudulent activity that they did as well as the damages that they have done to my property and they said that they will take care of the damages which they have not. I have also notified my insurance company the activities that they have done. I told him he will not get any more money from me until he completes the job, remove all material left, fix all damages to the property or pay for his damages done to my property. it is not fair for me to pay him any more money and he has not finished the work and have damaged my property. I have also ask this company to seek legal issues so that we can get this resolved if he feels that he wants his money. this company has been emailing me, calling me texting me and I have asked him to stop, he has come up to my job sitting out side harassing me. I have asked him to stop and he won't, I am in fear of my life, because I have asked and asked him to stop and he won't. this is become torture, my cameras are not working and he knows it because he broke them.

Desired Outcome

To stop and leave me alone stop harassing me, stay away from me.

God Built Roofs Response • Sep 11, 2018

I am responding to a complaint that was filed on the Revdex.com about God Built Roofs. I am unable to see this complaint, and cannot figure out how to access it, so please advise me where I can find that complaint. I do know who it is from however and I can guess what it says. This is a client who paid us $4,500 (a smaller deposit than we normally require our clients to pay), for a roof replacement project totaling $15,663.09. He still owes us $11,163.09 for the roof replacement we did for him, and as per our standard agreement with our client, they can pay the balance upon completion of the project. During the roof replacement, he asked our project manager to clean up his yard full of trash and tires and dispose of that for him, and when we told him we would be unable to do that (our roofers are not trash men, and the city dump charges one set fee for every tire we dispose of, so that would come out of our project manager's pocket, on behalf of this client), he got very angry with our crew leader and the on site project manager. He then claimed that we damaged and broke a security camera on his property, though when we got photos of it, it showed no signs of external damage, so it sounds like something that was already broken that he was trying to pin on us. But still, we offered to come take a look at it, and replace that one camera, even though the evidence suggested that we were not the ones at fault for it. But he refused to let us replace the one camera (he wanted an entirely new security system and wanted us to pay damages for the time his family was "unsecure" due to the one security camera issue that we still had no evidence that we were at fault for). Then threatened not to pay us any more money for the roof project (he currently owes us $11,163.09 to close out the roof project) because of the security camera, which is is not letting us remediate. So he got an entire roof replacement project totaling $15,663.09 for the bargain price $4,500 because he is refusing to pay us the remainder of the project total. We have filed a lien on his property, and have reached out to him on numerous occasions to try and come to an understanding, or help him with his security camera, to no avail. In fact, every time we reach out to him for payment, he says we are "stalking" him and "harassing" him, but we are just trying to get paid for the remainder of his project. He has cost our company a lot of time and money because of his unwillingness to pay or even discuss the camera situation with us, and we just want to get paid for the job we completed for him.

I have attached a copy of his lien paperwork for your reference. I think that is really what he is mad about and he is just unwilling to pay, or he decided to spend the money insurance gave him for his roof replacement, instead of pay us, and thus is guilty of insurance fraud. Please let me know what else needs to be done from a Revdex.com perspective on this complaint.

+1

I just had my roof replaced by God Built Roofs because of hail damage and was referred to this company by someone who had used them earlier this year. I worked with Herman and Cody and they were fantastic in letting me know everything that was going to occur, when it would happen and what the cost/insurance implications were. The roof looks great and I could not be happier with y experience, I would heartily recommend this company for roofing needs.

I HAD GOD BUILT ROOFS RE-ROOF MY HOME,MY MAIN CONTACT WAS HERMAN ***
THE ACCOUNT MANAGER. HE AND OWNER,LEON ***, COMPLETELY GUIDED THE PROCESS FROM INITIAL INSPECTION, DEALING WITH INSURANCE COMPANY, BEING ON SITE THROUGHOUT THE RE-ROOF INCLUDING TOTAL CLEAN UP. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH COMPANY AND WOULD RECOMMEND THEM.(IN FACT I DID AND MY
SON HAD THEM REDO HIS ROOF)

We had a great experience with Gob Built Roofs. Justin made the process very easy for us, helped get the insurance sorted out and then the roof was was done on 1.5 days!

This is a very reputable company that delivered
our new roof in a timely fashion at the agreed
upon price. I recommend them without reservation.

We continue to be pleased with the service that Justin and the roofers with God Built Roofs have provided. Justin has stayed in close communication from the beginning of this project through completion and has followed up to make sure we are fully satisfied. I knew we probably needed to get a new roof, but honestly didn't think I would care how it looked, or that it would make a big difference at all, but I was wrong. Our roof looks very new and sharp and has improved the overall image of our house. We have had several neighbors comment on it as well. We highly recommend this company.
