Review: 1. The website does not say that if you make reservations and members of your party dont show the members that do will be charged for the no-shows. For 4 people my daughter had to pay $10 each + 7% tax + 20% gratuity = .2. It also does not say that your party will all be on one check, no separate checks. That was an inconvenience. I told the owner and waiter that if we had known that we would have brought cash rather than all having debit cards.3. And it definitely does not say 20% gratuity is automatically added to your check. I would have paid 20% gratuity anyway, but when you add it to the bill making it mandatory, it is not a gratuity it is a fee and should be labeled as such. The menu didn't even say it would be added.4. And the item I ordered for brunch was Eggs Benedict advertised on the menu with lump crabmeat and caviar. When my order came I called the waiter over thinking it was not my order. I asked where is the caviar? I was told "Oh that is a typo on the menu. And he laughed. I gave up and never bothered to mentioned the crab was practically non-existent, about teaspoon of minced crab and that is describing it generously.** I spoke with the owner/manager after and told him of my complaints, primarily that they advertised my dish was to be topped with caviar. He explained that when they first opened his partner had grandiose ideas of what they wanted to serve and it wasnt practical. Earlier the MC said they were celebrating 17 years in business. So at that point it is clearly not a mistake on the menu. It is false advertising. He said several times well make it right but he did nothing to make it right. I pointed out that we had already paid, basically were forced to pay by very rude waitstaff. At that point he just laughed. They should not be allowed to get away with this false advertising.Desired Settlement: I want my $12 + 7% tax = $12.84 refunded as it should have been when I complained to the owner/manager. My dish was clearly falsely advertised and I should have been given the option of re-ordering something else.I want to be refunded the $51.36 we paid for the no-shows.
