Law firm does not communicate case status and after repeated communications about treatment facilities, they were dishonest about case status.
I requested to close my case 12/18/19. I have not heard back from the paralegal on my case; only when I reach out to her for a case update. She is rude and continues to give me false information. Ex. I did not seek treatment at a facility yet she states they are waiting for records from that facility. I received my MRI records from the law firm yet she states they are waiting for MRI records.

This is a very dishonest law firm. My daughter and mother have been going to Dr. appointments including chiropractic care for over 2 months. I decided to call them since I haven't heard anything in over a month. The lady tells me that the case has been dropped because the other parties insurance company is saying that my daughter is at fault. The police report didn't place my daughter at fault but I guess that doesn't matter. These people are very dishonest but I'm not going to settle for response I received.

To date, I have not been paid for missed wages from the time taken off for pain and doctor appointments from over 7 months ago.
On March 7th 2019 I was rear-ended and my vehicle was totaled. I immediately hired *** Law Firm to represent me and make sure that my medical care was paid for and I was paid for the time and money that I was missing due to the accident. I have received little updates regarding this case. I have also been leaving voicemails and emails for a couple of months now with only the response 'this is still in progress'. My case representative is Perla *** and the attorney assigned to my case is attorney Donovan *** It has been over 7 months and I have yet to be compensated as agreed upon in the original contract. I was told in May by my case manager when I was released from the doctor's care, that it would only be 2 to 3 months before I would receive compensation. This time frame it shows a lack of concern and urgency. They advertise someone who will fight for you and get results but so far all I have done is lose money by going to all the appointments they scheduled and have yet to be paid. By now this complete process should be over but as far as I know, this company hasn't even started reaching out to the insurance company for payment.

Amazing work from all levels of staff.Possitive winning outcome. Timely but is worth it. Glad I made the call.

My complaint is in regards to lack of communication, fairness, and deceitfulness.
My complaint is in reference to a anticipated case settlement. When communicating with the attorney and assistant they never relayed the same information to me which leads me to believe the information is not being fully disclosed me as a client. He tells one lie and she tells another and neither of there lies are the same. This recent incident is me waiting to get a follow up from the assistant on a request that I made, which she was not aware of or she pretended as if she wasn't aware, there was no follow up. But the attorney continues to contact me via email to sign a release form, knowing I told him I'm signing until official documentation viewed. I want everything to be honestly disclosed to me.

Have disappointed so many people it's sad!

This is the most pathetic, unprofessional, sham of legal representation I have ever met in my entire life. So much for supporting black businesses, because leave it to my people to screw you over and embarrass the entire African American culture. I wish there was a zero star button. Please do not get desperate enough to fall victim to that ratchet radio commercial as I did trying to help my daughter after her accident. I have dealt with 3-4 different people on our case, they have poor communication practices, and I found myself having to intervene and make calls back and forth to the ER because they were dropping the ball, and the ER was hounding me for payment. They did poor/lazy negotiating, and settled for the first pathetic amount offered, knowing full well it wasn't going to be sufficient enough to cover medicals AND pay everyone comfortably. THEN, it's a WHOLE YEAR later, and they settled a while ago, and didn't tell me. I had to find out from correspondence sent by the opposing insurance company that they received the check. Carol *** is the worst, I don't know where they hired her from, but if she can get a job, ANYONE can. She told me we would get one amount, then fast talked me later on telling me that the check was ready, but it was a lesser amount than we had discussed previously. THEN, after telling her that was unacceptable because that wasn't the agreement, and they should compensate for dropping the ball on this case, she tells me she's going to try and get the original amount approved, because I guess IT WAS ABOVE HER to make that decision. She took almost 2 months getting this amount "approved", I had to keep calling to see why it would take so long because she certainly doesn't follow up or return calls like she is supposed to. Fast forward, I call to follow up AGAIN, and she excitedly tells me she was able to get the new amount approved...but then as she explains everything, she quickly slides the new amount that was approved in, and it STILL, WAS NOT THE AMOUNT WE AGREED UPON. Now suddenly it's a 50/50 split and that's the best that they could do. If I wasn't so tired and disgusted with them, because again it's a WHOLE YEAR LATER, she would have caught my unsaved side today playing with my intelligence. It was so bad throughout this process, I had to communicate with another lady, to get updates and responses out of Carol *** I even emailed and copied everyone above her including the attorney, and he never even bothered to respond. To this day I haven't had ONE SINGLE CONVERSATION WITH A LICENSED ATTORNEY THERE. This is the most ghetto *** I have ever experienced. Oh, and who knew that it take a week just to reprint a check and mail it from Dallas?? So we have to wait a whole week before the check will be ready. Now, I work for a law firm myself, and we get checks printed and shipped priority overnight, DAILY. I can't wrap my mind around their practices. We can't DARE leave clients hanging and waiting on information. How embarrassing. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER IN LIFE USE THESE CROOKS AGAIN. I WOULDN'T DARE REFER THEM OR RECOMMEND THEM TO A BILLY GOAT. I AM EMBARRASSED THAT THIS IS THE KIND OF SERVICE MY PEOPLE ARE PUTTING OUT....NOT SURPRISED, JUST EMBARRASSED AND DISGUSTED. NEVER AGAIN. THAT RATCHET COMMERCIAL IS ACCURATE ALRIGHT! GIIIRRRLL YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT JUST HAPPENED! I JUST GOT HIT.....BY SOME BARELY EDUCATED CON ARTISTS! PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS NEEDS ELSEWHERE.

Worst Law Firm Ever! My self and my Four Year old Nephew were walking and a car hit us! Luckily the injuries wasnt life threatening but it did hurt! Now 9months later they settled for a very small amount for my nephew! I agreed to settle my case in December for a small amount that the lawyers told me I should take! Its now Feb.14 and I still haven't received anything! They lied to me saying they were waiting for liens from Medicaid! I decided to call Medicaid my self to find-out the holdup and Medicaid told me they haven't heard anything from my lawyers! I'm so disappointed and frustrated with this whole process this has been a big waste of time!!!!!!! Do Not use Godsey Martin Law Firm EVER! Warning You All!

Honest as to process, procedures, timelines, etc.
if you are looking for a bunch of money and expecting it to be handled overnight... Then take your greed elsewhere.

Godsey *** Law firm in Dallas really helped me with my case. I was able to settle with a fair amount. They completed my case in a good amount of time which didn't take long. Thanks to Christina *** my case manager, Tiara *** with the packaging department, and Kimberly *** my adjuster who got me my offer.

This law firm is horrible. I only talked with the lawyer once, then after I accumulated doctor bills going to the clinic they told me to go to, months later I was told there was nothing they could do about my case. I was not in the wrong in my accident, I was physically hurt as a result, and yet they did not do any work. I felt like they didn't care because they didn't answer or respond to my messages. I asked about opening another case as a result of the accident and they never responded. They never investigated anything. I was not treated like a true client that they care about or claim to care about on the radio stations. I would never recommend my worst enemy to go to them. This was a horrible experience and they do not treat you like a valued client.

I would never let this firm handle another case for me if they were the last firm on earth. They are trained to lie to the customer and deceive them, they are very dishonest and untrustworthy. If you are reading this DO NOT CHOOSE THIS LAW FIRM 'CROOKS' they will not satisfy you only make you angry. I have never been treated soo poorly in my life by someone who works for me. I have left message after message no one cares. If you are considering this firm PLEASE DO NOT you will only end up where I am at this moment Angry, Upset , and REGRET that I ever wanted to choose a company that so called helps the community but only ends up taking from the very people they claim they are helping. I only gave 1 star because that's the least you can go, they deserve negative stars.
