I hired Jack to do some work done on my house. It was changing out these pesky old bone-key mortise locks as well as adjusting the doors so they all close and latch properly. I was skeptical of hiring him by the hour at first (since contractors tend to run over time/budget), but when he saw the job, he assured me it wouldn't take him long and even agreed to cap it at a certain price that was agreeable to the both of us.
On the day he came, I watched him at work for about 10-15 minutes. Worked with a ***-like speed and efficiency, and wasn't wasting any time. I had to leave and came back after the work was done, and he did an amazing job. My roommate and I were impressed. What's more, he came in significantly under budget. Guys that were quoting me an even lower hourly rate were planning on taking 4-6 hours, Jack finished just a touch over 2 hours.
I'd strongly recommend using him. He's very honest and won't *** you. Does great handy work in the process. I would definitely work with him again and even give him some bigger home improvement projects down the line. Easily earns 5-stars as he's a steal. Wish more contractors worked like him.

We recently hired Goetz to dismantle, then reconstruct our deck stairs in a different configuration. He listened, made sure he understood our desired result and accomplished the project as expected. During the job he was efficient, asked questions if clarification was needed and made excellent suggestions. He was friendly and capable. He also completed a small cabinet modification job for us.
