I had some struts put on my car by this company. I believe the wheel was not properly put back on the car. When I was driving the wheel feel off and that caused body damage to the vehicle. I contacted the business after this happened. At first, the owner was apologetic and I was told they would take care of everything/fix everything and that I would be provided with some extra services. I went to the location the next day and the owner's mind has completely changed and they will no longer help me. It feels as if they do not want to file a claim with their insurance company. Later that day, the owner of shop began to post awful things online about me. I have screenshots showing what was said about me online.

visited *** on 7/20/19 requesting us to install 2 struts he brought in. We installed the struts correctly and went through our inspection process to insure quality control. As displayed in attachment 1 (***) the tire blew out causing the damage to the body of the car. This is not an installation issue but yet it is a common occurrence for any driver on the road. As displayed in attachment 2 (***) you will see the body damage consistent with a tire blow out. The body damage flexes inward and is not consistent with a tire completely separating from a vehicle while driving. As displayed in attachment 3 (***) you will see no damage to the rotor and hub. The rotor and hub are the part of the vehicle that attaches the wheel to the car. If the wheel fell off while driving, there would be significant damage to the rotor and hub when it hit the ground. As displayed in attachment 4 (***, *** posted a message on social media showing the spare tire attached to the vehicle. As shown, he has all 5 lug nuts attached to the spare. If the wheel 'flew off' the lug nuts would be almost impossible to find. Also, his comment above the picture states '*** the day and blew my' this shows he blew his tire and not the wheel falling off due to improper installation. This post was made on Tuesday 7/23/19. If a wheel was not secured, it wouldn't stay attached for 3 days and then fall off. The damage to a vehicle due to a wheel falling off is very catastrophic. A spare can not be simply put on and you can continue driving the car without further repairs. Because we love our customers and want 100% satisfaction, we gave *** 2 free tires for his inconvenience. We did this not to accept responsibility, but to try to keep our customers satisfied.

The story he’s saying is false. I contacted *** hours after I picked up my car to let him know about the ride of the car. Safe first. I wasn’t able to get my car back before the tire came of and the tires he forced on me after the incident were pre ord b m thr him. I talked to him and one of his employees several times before the accident. I talked to him Torrian Jackson right after the accident and later on the night and he was very apologetic and promised to fix the damages and even offered extra things I didn’t ask for even the tires. When I got to the shop the next morning his story changed he felt like he had no fault in the incident. Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:

Sincerely

I'm sorry you feel this way Antonio. However, the evidence suggests your tire did not fall off while driving. Please review the images for proof of this conclusion. We have certified mechanics on staff with over 50 years combined in the repair industry. We side with our staffs conclusion in your case. However, any customer that calls with a complaint, we will apologize for ANY inconvience you feel you may have but to repair a vehicle that was damaged at the hands of a 'common road occurrence' does not fall on the repair shop. We feel the 2 FREE tires you received, ordered and requested (at the time of the repairs you were willing to pay for) should be sufficient to resolve your matter. Further repairs to your vehicles body damage due to a blow out of a below safety tread rating should not be on the shoulders of any company that repairs vehicles.

been taking care of my family's cars for many years. When I had an issue with my car shaking 3 years ago, I took it to him. He fixed my car on 8/21/2015. He said my car needed ball joints to the left side of my car, he was supposed to remove and replace lower arm control on the left side with ball joints. At the time, my mileage was at 51,312. I paid $460.97 for parts and labor. I don't drive my car very much, never on the highway, I don't let other people drive my car, and I have only ever walked to work because I live so close. So 3 years later when my car started doing the same thing again I was really surprised. My car was shaking and making noise; I was scared to drive it. I took it back to Clyde on 8/10/18 who said I needed to have the control arms on both sides replaced again. At this point, my mileage was only 56,178. It seemed strange to me that my car would need this repair again, this was supposedly the same thing he already fixed. It didn't add up. I took my car to ***. The tech there explained that both sides were now worn down and because of my mileage, it didn't make sense, there's no way that my car should've needed that work done again. Clyde put "economic parts" on my car, parts that came with no warranty, that weren't lifetime parts. There was so much damage because he didn't do the repair right the first time that the wheels were coming off of my car, I could have lost my life. I had to pay to have the repairs done again, paid $996.46 for repairs to both sides. I went back to *** to discuss this. He told me I can't help it if the parts go out before your mileage. It hurt me that he would do that to us. My family trusted him with our cars. I'm a single lady on a fixed income. I'm 68 years old. I think that's wrong to treat me this way.
