I can not say enough bad things about this sorry outfit. I was introduced to the Peoples Bank on [redacted] when they phoned my home number. I politely told their representative I was not interested in their services and directed him to remove me from their call list. It is now [redacted]. I have been called by the People' Bank 3 times a day (morning, afternoon, evening) for 3 days since. Each time I reject their service and direct them to remove me from their call list.
It is readily apparent that they have no regard for my wishes and are only interested in their own agenda. I would not recommend this Bank to someone I despised.
This bank has not handled my requests for a loan in a quick and professional manner. How long should it take to give me an answer? It took so long we had 3 appraisals and now they have allowed it to lapse 1 more time and even though they paid for the last appraisal, I think it's time to look for another bank. We are done with Peoplesbank, their motto is "bankingunusual", at least they have that right.
Financing process can be scary especially for a first time home buyer. I called to apply for a FHA and was provided promising advice however when I actually applied they immediately submitted me for a conventional loan which I knew I wouldn't qualify for. They later submitted my app as a FHA and told me several reasons for the denial which was expressed by me in the beginning. I wasted my time with this bank and don't recommend this especially for FHA applicants. I was honest with them I just they would have been honest with me from the beginning.

Fast easy process. [redacted] is so experienced at VA loans the whole process was painless.
